Chapter 8

John Edwards POV
I was so happy that Katerina was allowing for my nanny to take care of her sister after all. My plan is going as I planned.
Now I just need her to agree to my contract and make sure we nail this deal with the Grey's next week or they'll will report back to my father or I will not be able to keep my company.

I gotta break things off with Sabrina or this will be a disaster and I can't handle her anymore. I have no idea why I ever started dating her. She was suppose to be a weekend hookup.

"Sabrina, be ready in 20 mins I'll be picking you up for dinner ?" I asked.
"Sure baby, anything special that you want me to wear?" She asked seductively. God please stop. I'm not in the mood for you tonight, or in any case ever again.

"Just wear something, Sabrina! I'm not your fucking father!" I said aggressively. I'm not her damn father to be telling her what to wear. Fucking child.
" Uhh--ookay, I-m s-s-sorry. I'll see you i-" before she could finish I hung up. Now I'm just not in a mood to be seeing or even hearing her. I have no clue how I even dealt with her for so long!
I take a shower and wear a black blazer with some jeans and a white top.

Once I'm done getting ready. I head to my car. I call Sabrina to let her know to meet me at Canlis. It's where I take every other date. Might as well break up with her at a fancy restaurant.

I arrived at the restaurant. I hand my keys over to the Valet guy to park my car and head in.

"Good Evening, Mr. Edwards. Your guest is already here. Follow me, please." The slightly beautiful brunette announces to me. She's the only host that has never tried to hit on me or try to get with me. She walks me to my usual table, the table for two by the most gorgeous view of the Seattle ocean view.
Sabrina is already seated when I arrive to the table. She's wearing a black skimpy dress. Her usual. I seat opposite of her.

"Hello Sabrina, how are you?" I asked coldly.

She seats up and puts the straightest face ever, she doesn't know that I could tell that she looks hurt by how I'm treating her. But I could care less.
"Im doing great, Baby. How about you? What's this surprise of a last minute dinner? And to where we had our first date?" She asked all eagerly.
If only she knew I wasn't proposing to her but more like breaking up with her.

" Let me shatter any hopes that you have right, Sabrina. I'm not proposing to you. Or anything special. We are here to have dinner and then discuss some important matter, okay?"I stated abruptly.
Our server came around and took our order. I ordered a bottle of red Zinfandel.
As we are our dinner, Sabrina chattered about her day and her girl friends and stuff, while I just mumbled uhums and oh good all throughout dinner.

Once we where done with dinner we where left with the wine bottle and our wine glasses.

I wonder what Katerina is doing right now. How she is gonna take my proposal. If she'll agree. I hope so. I need her to. I can't let this go sou-

"Baby, what are you thinking about? What's this important matter we needed to discuss?" Sabrina interrupted my train of thought.
I sat up straight and looked at her.

"Sabrina I asked you to dinner tonight because this" I pointed to me and her " is not working out, it has never worked out, you where suppose to be a casual hook up, but I have no fucking clue how we became more then that. I honestly can't stand you and you disgust me. So yes I invited you to dinner to you to end things with you." I said abruptly. While I was reading her face, she went from shock, to rejection, to anger.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, John?! You can't just end things with me! How fucking dare you! You're a bastard and a jerk! I will make sure my father ruins you and your company!" She yelled at me. She was getting ready to toss her wine at me but I stopped her mid way.
" I dare you, Sabrina. And if you ever dare to threaten me with ruining me and my company, I will ruin your reputation and your fathers. As I basically control your father now. So please go ahead and give me the chance to destroy your family and you." I said while tossing her hand to her side and setting the wine glass down.
Before saying one more thing she left the restaurant and hopefully my life forever.
I nudged the server for the tab. I'm ready to get out of here and go home. Tonight has been stressful but successful. Thank god that i don't have to deal with her again and I can go ahead with winning Katerina over.
The server brings me the tab. Once I have paid and tipped the server, I head home.

I arrived home 30 minutes later.
I shower once again and put on my black pajama pants and head to bed. Tomorrow I'll see Katerina again and she will meet my Nanny. I can't wait to see her. She's so beautiful. I wonder what our kids will look like. Wait what! I can't think of that! That's not gonna happen! She's just a plan for me. That's all she's going to be nothing else. I try to squeeze that thru my brain but it had other plans. Tonight will be a useless night to sleep....
