Chapter Two

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP"
My alarm kept going off. I wish it would shut up its 6:30 Am! Who likes being awake at this time. I know it's not me. But it's interview day and I gotta shower. I get up off my bed forgetting all about Ana sleeping here last night. But then I remembered cause she snores like a tornado alarm. I head straight to the shower. Once I'm out it is 6:45 I wake Ana up so that she can help me get ready.
"Anaaaaaa bananaaaaaaaaa!" I poked her while trying to wake her.
"Anaaaaaaaaaaa Come on or I'll tickle you awake!" I was about to tickle her til she swarmed out of my bed onto the floor. "Okay okay I'm up! Let's do this before you're late!" She ran to my closet and started tossing and throwing the clothes she didn't like. She was in there with what felt like forever but it was actually 10 mins. She finally came out with a Black tight dress with khaki strips on the stomach side. I forgot I had that dress I bought it for my secretary Job years ago. "This is one gorgeous dress! I've never seen you in it Katerina!!!!" Ana exclaimed with joy.
" It's because I forgot that I owned it. I doubt it fits me. I bought it two years ago Ana." She threw the dress at me and told me to put it on. Meanwhile she ran to turn my curlier on.
"Hey Ana can you go wake up Isabelle please!" I said while trying to zip my self up. Damn dresses are always hard to zip by yourself.
"Sure! I'll take her to school too. So that way you won't be late to your interview!" She said while running out of my room to Isabelle's room. I finally got the zipper closed on my own. And to my amazement it fit perfectly. I don't even know how that is possible. I go straight to my restroom to do my hair and makeup. Which took me another 10 minutes. Once I was done Ana was done getting herself ready and Isabelle was already eating breakfast. It is 7:15, the office is 15 minutes away from my house. So that gives me enough time to eat something and find some shoes to wear with this outfit.
"Hey Ana can you help me pick out some shoes to wear with this dress." I asked her. She has more sense in fashion then me.
"Oh you don't have to ask me twice!" Ana said while running to my closet. She came back out with some black/Nude Elegant Sweet bow tie high heels. Which I did not know I owned either.
I put them on and checked myself out in my black mirror hanging on my wall. "Wow I look so different. I look like a new me." I thought to myself. Once I see that I am ready and all set I head downstairs where Ana and Isabelle are having breakfast. I try to walk down the steps, trying not to break an ankle or my face in that case. I make it safely downstairs and make my turn into the kitchen.
"OH MY GRAPEFRUITS who are you and what have you done with my sister Katerina?!" Isabelle said with excitement in her face. "Haha it's me Isa!" I said laughing at her reaction. "I know but you look gorgeous and you never look this gorgeous or anything!" Pointing at me with her finger.
"Well Geez thanks Isa." I said acting like if she hurt my feelings.
"You look gorgeous Kat! I'm sure John Edwards will not refuse you that Job today! Now let's go it's 7:30! I don't want you two to be late!" She said while rushing us out the door to our cars. Once in my car I said goodbye to Isabelle and wished her well in her Exams. Ana said she will meet me after the interview. Once I got to Edwards Inc. I got nervous. I walked out of my car to the glass doors that read "Edwards Inc." I walked up to the secretary. She had a blonde ponytail with red slutty lipstick. You can smell her attitude from a mile away.
"How can I help you?" She said with anger. I wonder how she manages to keep her job.
"Good morning to you too. I am here for the interview with Mr.John Edwards." I said with a little attitude.
"You must be Katerina then. Well Mr.Edwards is waiting for you in his Office. You Better hurry before your late. It's the 25th floor. Bye!" She said. "Thank you" I said annoyed. Goodness what is her problem. I walked towards the elevator pressing on the Button. The elevator doors opened and I got in. I pressed on the twenty fifth floor which is the last floor. On my way up I started panicking I want to run and leave and not make a fool of myself. But I need this job for the House and my sisters School.

*Ding*

I stepped out of the elevator. Once I got off all you saw was a black framed door with a sign that said CEO John Edwards. I didn't know what to do, so I knocked lightly. "Come in" was all I heard. I opened the door carefully. Once I opened the door fully There was John Edwards seating behind his table with his face buried in his work.
"Hello my name is Katerina Jones. I'm here for the interview." I said shyly trying not to bother him. He snapped his head up. He looked at me dumbstruck for a minute at first until he said "I know who you are. Come in and seat down. Let me finish this paper and I'll get back to you." He said looking back at his work. I sat down in one of the black and white chairs across his table and studied him. He looks muscular but not to muscular, he has brown hair, with this brown creamy eyes that I could look at till forever. I didn't know he was that dreamy or good looking. I looked away so that he wouldn't realize that I was checking him out. His office was big, the back wall that was right behind him was all glass that had a spectacular view of Seattle. He has a black sofa in a corner with a clear table that has black and white glass crystal balls as the center piece.
"So Miss Jones! Let's get started. Shall we?" He asked.
"Um yes sorry..." I said looking down.
"It says here that you worked in Johnson Inc. two years ago. Tell me what happened?" He said looking at a piece of paper in his hands. Which I assumed was my resume.
"Well Mr.Edwards I worked for Mr.Johnson two years ago for 8 months. It was a great job with great pay and I loved it. But I did not like the attempts that Mr.Johnson tried to get in my pants and the remarks he would make about me as his secretary. I am not a whore or somebody's fling. I made that clear with Mr.Johnson several times but he never got it past his desperate mind. So I got tired of it and I quit." I said with anger in my voice. The memories where coming back and I don't wanna remember.
"Well Miss Jones, Mr.Johnson is claiming something else in this letter that he attached to your resume." wait what this man did what! I know he said that he would ruin my career but I never imagined he wrote a letter!
"Then why did you ask Mr.Edwards. Why didn't you trust Mr.Johnson's word?" I asked all angered.
"Well Miss Jones, I asked that question because first of all I am the boss I can ask any questions I want." He said angry. "Second because I know there is a second point of view to every story. Now Ms.Jones I did my research on you and your job for Mr.Johnson. I personally do not like Mr.Johnson as he is a womanizer and a pervert at his utter most. But he is one of my clients who I will be taking over his company soon. But on the other hand I talked to some of his employees about what happened between you and Mr.Johnson and your story seems to fit some of the employees stories so Yes I do believe you." He said confidently. I looked at him all surprised and angered. Who the hell does he think he is talking to like that. He may have power and all but that's no excuse for him to be a Ass about it.
"Now Miss Jones you come with great recommendation from my father and My chairwoman Ana. You have proven to me as well that you can fit perfectly as my personal secretary. I will see you tomorrow at 8 Am sharp with my coffee. Have a nice day Ms.Jones." He said looking at his computer screen typing. I couldn't process what he just said. I got the Job.
"Thank you Mr.Edwards!" I said getting up from the chair.
"Don't call me Mr.Edwards that's my father. Call me John. I'm your Boss." He said with a serious face.
" Okay....I'm sorry Mr.Edw......I mean John. Have a nice day. See you tomorrow." Without another single word I left his office.
On the way down In the elevator I couldn't stop replaying the moment he said I was hired. I can't believe I have a new job! I got off the elevator and started walking towards the exit doors. Until I heard Ana calling my name.
"Kat! Katerina!" I looked at her. She was in a blue tight dress with black high heels.
"Ana hey!" I said happily.
"How did it go did you get the job? Do I have to beat up John! I recommended you so he better have given you that damn job!" She said all serious.
"Ana Ana calm down. I got the job I start tomorrow at 8 Am! Can you believe that!!!" I couldn't believe it myself still.
"What! You got the job! OMG we are so celebrating this weekend Kat!" Ana said.
"Fine! But I gotta leave and quit my other job. I'll see you tonight!" I said walking away from Ana!
"Okay, we better be eating Mexican though!" She yelled out to me before I got out the exit doors.
