*chapter 36*

Ross' P.O.V .

As I was walking home from school, I heard some raucous coming from a small ally between two buildings.I was planning on ignoring the sounds when I heard a girl shriek.

I quickly jog to the small ally.When I finally get there I see a man in his late 30's pinning a young girl against the wall.I couldn't make out who the girl was, because I was too far away to see her face clearly.I step closer bein as quite as I could.

When I get close enough, I see it's Lucy.I get furious at that man.I ran up to him and tackle him against the concrete

Ross:YOU SICK BASTARD!!HOW CAN YOU TRY TO RAPE A INNOCENT GIRL!!

I said while punching him in the face.After a few punches the man throws me off him.He got up from the ground and got on top of me and started choking me

Lucy:ROSS!!

Lucy cried out

I couldn't get out of his grasp

Drunk man:DIE MOTHERFUCKER!!

I was loosing air fast, I couldn't breath.

That's when Lucy came behind the man and threw a rock to his head.

Drunk guy:Oww!! you bitch!

The man let go of me and went after Lucy.He grabbed her and threw her to the ground , making her hit her head on the ground. She was bleeding from her head.

Ross:Lucy!!

When Lucy hit the ground I got up from the ground and tackled the guy against the concrete one more time.I suddenly had all this energy inside of me, i didn't know where I got it from, but I decided I wasn't gonna waste it.I punched the guy on the face, one punch after another.Until he blacked out.

I got off from him and ran up to Lucy.She was still bleeding.I take my phone out and call the ambulance and the police.I hold her motionless body against my body.I softly kiss her forehead.

Ross:please baby, stay with me

After a few minutes the police and ambulance came.Two paramedics came up to Lucy and carried her to an ambulance.While the police arrested the drunk guy.

I see the guy is conscious again.I ran up to him and kicked him in the balls.

He falls to the ground holding his part.

Ross:people like you deserve to rott in jail.

I spit at his face and head for the ambulance

Ross:can I stay with her

I said to one of the paramedics.My voice slightly cracked.

Paremedic #1:I'm sorry sir, her head is hurt badly, I would appreciate if you stayed here.

I nodded

I didn't know what to do.I just called Mike and Micah and told them that Lucy got in an "accident" and she was sent to the hospital.

~CALL~

After too rings Mike picks up.

M:hello?

R:hey Mike , this is Ross, Lucy is in the hospital

I said while crying

M:WHAT?!? WHY?!

I just told him that she hit her head hard against the ground, and she hurt her head.

M:ok me and Micah are headed to the hospital right now, and Ross

R:yeah?

M:I'd appreciate if you didn't come to the hospital...for Lucy
