*chapter 17*

                   Ross's P.O.V

The moment Lucy's and my lips touched I felt fireworks explode inside me.I lick her bottom lip asking her permission to come in her mouth, she accepts it, once my tounge was inside her mouth I explored it.Mine and her tounge fought for dominance, of course I won.

After me and Lucy parted form the kiss, we just looked at each others eyes and said "wow".

Ross:I'm sorry......I know you wanted things between you and Micah to cool before we did this kind of things.

Lucy:it's ok...the kiss was amazing...it made me realize how much I like you

Ross:really?!?

Lucy:yeah

There was a brief moment of silence until Lucy spoke up.

Lucy:......so what do we do next?

Ross:umm.......what about a movie?,

Lucy:...sure ...as long as it takes my mind out of Micah

Ross:how about mama?

Lucy:sure..I've never actually seen it, is it scary??

Ross:why don't you watch it and see for yourself

Lucy:fine, but can we make some popcorn??

Ross:sure, you stay here while I go get some

Lucy:ok

I walk to the kitchen and grab a bag of popcorn, I head back to the livingroom, and give the popcorn to Lucy.

Lucy:thanks

Ross:your welcome

As we watched the movie,Lucy would barry her face in her knees during the scary parts, so I decided to put my arms around her waist,reassuring her that I was there for her,as soon as I did that she hugged me tight.

Lucy:your SOO warm

Ross:are you cold?

Lucy:just a little....

Ross:wanna cuddle for warmth?

Lucy:sure

For the rest of the movie me and Lucy cuddled together for warmth, I got to admit she is really warm, having her in my arms, makes me wanna protect her, so she would never cry, ever again.

                   Micah's P.O.V.

After the fight I had with Lucy, I decided to ditch school after second period right before I go to 3rd and face Lucy again.I just can't face her right now, not without her bringing hurt to my heart, seeing her and Ross together is like I'm being stabbed in the heart over and over again.

Micah:Sigh.......

I really need some advice... I should go back and talk to Mike.

After a minute of debating with myself after 2 minutes, I headed back to my house.I stepped into my house and yelled

Micah:I'm home early from school!!

Mike:why??

Micah:I need some advice

Mike:is about Lucy?

I nodded, looking depressed

Mike:sigh.......

well bro there's not much I can tell you, the only thing I'm gonna say to you, try to understand Lucy,you gotta see that its hard for her, rejecting one of her best friends...you got to remember, you guys have been friends for almost 12 years..it's hard for her to see you as something else other than a friend or a brother

Micah:I know! but why can't she see I want to be more than friends, I want to be by her side the rest of my life!

Mike:you still can!!, but not as a lover, but instead just as a brother.

Micah:but I dont want that!! I want Lucy to like me as a lover!!!

Mike: I know Micah!, but remember you can't control what Lucy's heart feels,..shoot not even Lucy can control that..it's up to her heart, not her mind...just remember that Lucy is hurting right now,not just you...she hates seeing one of us beeing hurt, just as much as we hate seeing her hurt.Just remember...she is one of your best friends...are you really gonna destroy a strong friendship, for a simple crush that might go away in a few weeks??

Micah:........no, but i just had another fight with Lucy...

Mike:when?

Micah:this morning.....when I was walking to school....

Mike:what happened?

Micah:well......I was walking to school this morning...and .....I saw her walking down the street by her self.I wanted to go talk to her and talk about what had happened the previous night, but then she turned around and jumped into my arms and hugged me tight.Then she started apologizing for what she had done......I couldnt help but feel guilty because she was crying....and then....and then......

Mike:and then what?

Micah:I kissed her.....the kissed lasted about 30 seconds before she pulled away.I then told her that I like her....she didn't say anything..so I asked her to be my girlfriend.She then started crying even more, and then she told that she can't, that she just likes me as a brother....of course I was mad so I just left her crying there and walked away.....

Mike:sigh.......ohh Micah,

Micah:do u think I Fucked things up with Lucy??

Mike:I don't know, do u want to fine out and talk to her?

Micah:yeah.....I just want to tell her how much I'm sorry, and tell her that I will put my feelings away to keep our friendship.

Mike:fine.., I'll tell her to come over to our house....

Micah:she won't come

Mike:why'd you say that?

Micah:well....1 because she is at school and 2 because she's probably hates me right now and won't come if you tell her I want to talk to her.

Mike:she is gonna come....

Micah:how do you know??

Mike:1 if she is at school she just needs to ditch, and 2 I'll just tell her that I fell down the stairs and I need her help, that way I'm sure she will come.

Micah:it doesn't hurt to try....right
