Akali's P.O.V

Soo..Are you really sacrificing your love for the Kinkou Order..?

Stop talking to me. I know what's best.

Oh really now? I know that you aren't willing to kill him.

Ahh..my mind is right. I don't know who to follow..my mind..or my heart..? I really do love Zed don't I? There's so many questions that remain unanswered..and only the future will reveal the answers.

Also, how will I be able to distract Zed..?

*flashback*

I couldn't do anything. My body was paralyzed with fear as my gaze lay upon a man in front of me. All I could do was stay hidden behind the building and stare.

That man..he was full of shadows and had a deep and dark aura. That had scared me..

Zed..why? The one who was so close yet so distant at the same time..

*end flashback*

There's something you need to know Akali..but now isn't the right time..

What. That I'm in love with Zed? I admit it. I do. Now stop referring to that.

I don't mean that. It's something else. You'll be suprised..

"Akali.." I heard a voice call to me. It took me a moment to process it all, but Zed was right in front of me, his face close to mine.

What caught my attention was that he wasn't wearing his mask or armour at all. My body was paralyzed again, as I remembered to all those times. Although, I was interupted by a big explosion.

"Well, look at who it is." Zed stated."Kennen and Shen."

"Didn't expect this coming did you?" Kennen asked.

"Actually, I did. I knew it was going to happen anyways, from the very beginning. I mean, why would Akali come to me? It's all about getting the Ionian Isles back for you guys."

When Zed said that, it struck a chord in my heart. It felt like my feelings for him were being rejected already even before he knew.

"Although, it was fun." He continued."I got to toy around with Akali. She excelled really well, but I kept the strongest moves from her of course. What's better is that I finally get to verse you again Shen and defeat you for the second time."

Shen started to attack Zed. They clashed with swords and shadows. Shen's eyes made the shadows materialize, therefore he could attack them with his swords.

So..Akali. Who are you going to choose? Shen or Zed?

I-I can't choose..

You better though. Your fate depends on it. Look through your past..and choose.

I-I will choose the Kinkou Order. I'm a ninja, and I live to serve my clan. Feelings like this are only going to get in the way. Love will only happen when my ninja time is over.

It seems I have taught you well..my daughter.

Wait..daughter? Y-You're my mother?

Yes.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Because I wanted you to choose for once. I knew that you went to Zed for the Kinkou Order, but I knew that you loved him as well and one day you would have to choose one or the other. If you knew it was me then you would've chosen the Order to make me proud. But, if you didn't know it was me, you had the hardest decision.
