Epilogue

(Third Person View)

After a few years..

"Ahh..we finally managed to finish building the Kinkou Order.." Shen exclaimed."We finally finished what we were destined to do."

"Yeah. We now have students to teach and pass on the skills of maintaining balance throughout the lands." Kennen added.

"It's been a tough road, but we managed to come out of it together." Akali simply stated.

"Watching the Stars, Coursing the Sun and Pruning the Tree. These jobs were enthrusted to us." Shen continued. "We've all become like family, and now our job is to pass it on."

All of the students were asleep in their dorms while Akali, Kennen and Shen were outside talking. The moon simply watched over them from above and lighted up the night.

The trio now just couldn't help but smile and laugh at all their memories together and how they managed to go through everything. But, there was still a part of Akali that was sad.She can't ever forget about Zed.

"We're sorry about Zed.." Shen said sadly, as he placed a hand on Akali's shoulder.

"Ahh..it's okay.." Akali replied. "It was my fate. What happened is already in the past. I can only move on.."

Kennen and Shen looked at Akali, both taking in what she just said. They felt sorry for her. She had lost her love. But, Akali was right. There was no point in brooding about the past. You can only look forward into the future.

"And so another day goes by. Tomorrow will be another repeated day. See you guys tomorrow, goodnight." Kennen said, walking off to his room.

"Goodnight." Shen and Akali replied and walked off to their rooms as well.

"Akali..will you ever love anyone else besides Zed?" Shen quietly asked as his face slowly got more red.

"Huh..? What do you mean?" Akali replied.

"Ah..don't worry about it. Forget that I said anything." Shen said. "Well..goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Shen's P.O.V

Ah..it seems like I couldn't tell her. These feelings that I have for her, shall I throw them away..? I've kept them in for so long and I still can't release them. Akali loves Zed. There's no way she'll be able to forget about him. He made a huge impact on her life.

I stared out the window as my thoughts dominated my head. The feelings that arise in my chest whenever I'm around her..

This unrequited love..
