Lucy Orh...super petite, pale, small, and frail...With her large hazel eyes, bobbed brown hair, straight across bangs, freckles, and over-sized glasses, she doesn't look like someone to be concerned of...but she's definitely not someone you want to mess with. That girl will kick your ass if you make her mad.
She is a Slytherin, Half-blood, and best friends with Rose Granger-Weasley, who just so happens to be in Gryffindor so...there's complications.
It was a weekend, and the two were just roaming the castle freely, because, why not? The two talked about the history of Hogwarts here and there, and just about anything, really.
As the two walked, Lucy heard Rose groan in annoyance. Slightly confused, Lucy looks ahead, noticing Rose's cousin, Albus Potter, and his friend...Scorpius Malfoy, was it? In all honesty, Lucy didn't care all that much, even though she was in the same house.
The two girls turn around, attempting to not get noticed by the two Slytherin guys. Unfortunately, the sounds of their footsteps were loud and clear.
"Rose, Lucy, hi!" Albus calls, which makes the two girls look at each other before turning around, facing the two 15/16 year olds.
"Hello Albus." Rose replies, somewhat bluntly. Lucy blinks.
"Hi." She mutters irritatedly, for she would rather be doing something else at this moment. Rose turns to look at Scorpius.
"Hello Scorpius." She adds, which makes Scorpius blush. Lucy rolls her eyes. Scorpius glances over, noticing Lucy. His face turns a darker shade of red as he turns to Albus.
"Albus, are we in heaven?" Scorpius questions, an innocent look on his strawberry face.
"What? No-" Albus starts to say, only for Scorpius to cut him off.
"Because I think we've run into two angels." Scorpius quickly says cutely. Lucy glares at him, ticked off. Scorpius mumbles another cute pickup line, a lot quieter than the first time, but then starts to try to apologize.
Lucy, being completely annoyed, walks up to Scorpius and punches him in the face. She quickly walks away, fist clenched slightly. Albus pats Scorpius's shoulder as Rose goes after the irritated girl.
"What were you thinking?" Albus questions, an apologetic look on his face. Scorpius glances at his friend, slightly rubbing the side of his face.
"I'm...no sure. I don't believe that I was thinking at all..." Scorpius mumbles as the two girls walk off. He blinks. "I feel odd, though." Scorpius adds. Albus rolls his eyes.
"Not again..." Albus mumbles. Scorpius raises an eyebrow.
"What?" He questions. Albus sighs.
"You're taking an interest in an impossible girl, again." Albus replies bluntly. Scorpius blinks, glancing back to where the girls went. He sighs...how will he get anywhere with this?
It has been awhile since the slight...incident. About 3 months, to be more exact, and Rose convinced Lucy that Albus and Scorpius weren't that bad...so Lucy started talking to them more. She learned about Scorpius's past, his mother, the rumors- everything.
In turn, she told Scorpius a lot too. (Idk anything about your past besides the fact that you're a half-blood). The two became close, and this feeling started to bubble up inside Lucy-but she refused to believe it was anything.
Scorpius decided how he felt a long time ago. It was pretty obvious, and both Albus and himself knew it almost immediately. Anyway, it was an ordinary day at...Hogwarts...one of the least ordinary places in the world...
Anyway, once again, Lucy was just sitting in the Slytherin common room, doing whatever to pass the time. Because it was a weekend, the students were wearing whatever, so Lucy was dressed up like a doll, which is her usual thing.
Lucy then heard a couple footsteps, which made her head turn in the direction of the noise. Once she realized it was Scorpius and Albus, she blushed the tiniest bit, glancing back down. What is going on with me? Was all Lucy could think.
She shook her head, standing up abruptly. Lucy quickly ran out of the common room, glancing all over the place. She had to find Rose...maybe she would know...
As Lucy came upon the Gryffindor entrance, she glanced up at the fat lady.
"Is Rose Granger-Weasley in there?" Lucy questions quickly. The fat lady nods.
"Password, though, dear." The fat lady adds. Lucy blinks, her mind fumbling. Password...for the Gryffindor common room...what was it? Rose had told her before... Suddenly, the door opened, revealing a confused Rose.
"Rose! I need help! Please, can we talk?" Lucy quickly exclaims. Rose raises an eyebrow, but nods, heading out of the common room. The two girls walk down the hall, Lucy explaining what was going on.
"I don't know...actually, that's a lie, I do know, but it's best if you figure it out." Rose comments after hearing Lucy's explanation. Lucy frowns.
"But- Rose-" Lucy starts, but Rose shakes her head.
"That's not something I should mess with, Lucy. This is something you'll have to figure out. I'm sorry." Rose replies, an apologetic look on her face. Lucy sighs, but nods.
"Fine...I'll see you later..." She mumbles, walking off. What were her feelings...all she knew is that they were strange, and made her feel weird. Lucy wasn't the biggest fan of these odd feelings, to be honest.
As she entered the Slytherin common room, Lucy once again spotted Scorpius and Albus. Lucy yelped, covering her mouth with her hand. Scorpius turns to Lucy, a small smile coming to his face.
"Oh, hey Lucy! I need to talk to you!" Scorpius calls out. Lucy's face starts to turn a small shade of pink as she yelps once again. On instinct, Lucy quickly scurried out of the common room, and up into the halls of Hogwarts.
Lucy sighs, looking around as she walked calmly. What...was wrong with her? She just started to feel so nervous around Scorpius out of nowhere...it really was strange...
"Maybe you like him..." Lucy mumbles to herself. She then stops, shaking her head aggressively at her own thoughts, which made a couple student passing by raise an eyebrow. Lucy blinks, only to glare at them.
Slightly frightened, the students run off. "No Lucy, don't be stupid. Of course you don't like him..." Lucy mumbles, once again sighing, and looking at her surroundings. She notices that she was by the portrait that lead to the kitchens, where you have to tickle the pear to open it.
Lucy tears her gaze away from it, slowly starting to continue her walk. Not to long after, something grabs her hand, so Lucy turns around. When she notices that the person who caught her hand was Scorpius, her face turns the slightest pink color.
"Hey Scorpius..." Lucy mumbles in greeting. Scorpius gives her a small smile, only for his face to turn to one of confusion.
"Why did you run off? There's something I really need to ask you..." Scorpius questions gently. In response, Lucy gives him a wide smile and I shrug.
"I don't know...but what is it you want to ask me?" Lucy replies simply. Scorpius blinks, a light pink hue coming to his face.
"Oh...well...I...um...I wanted to know if you would...well..." Scorpius stutters out.
"Spit it out already!" Lucy cuts in. Scorpius's blush increases.
"I wanted to know if you would go on a date with me!" Scorpius exclaims quickly. Lucy blinks, wondering if what she heard was true. A...date? Scorpius wanted to go on a date with her? Did she want to go on a date with him?
The odd feeling she had been, well, feeling...had she formed a crush in the past three months? Could a crush form so fast? Lucy's face started to turn a darker shade of pink.
The butterflies in her stomach...the fact she was blushing in the first place...she did like Scorpius, didn't she? Lucy smiles the smallest bit, nodding.
"I would love to." Lucy replies, pushing up her large glasses with a single finger, her big eyes shining. Scorpius smiles widely, fist-bumping the air. Slowly, he lowers his arms, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
Lucy smiles at Scorpius's cute actions. Thinking it was right, Lucy walked over to Scorpius and gave him a small kiss on the cheek before happily skipping/running (Idk if you hate skipping or not XD) back to the Slytherin common room.
Who knew someone she had found so annoying grew to be someone Lucy likes so much...A/N
