4- "Befriending Hollywood"

"WHAT!????"
"Holy shit Shay! Can you get any louder? Calm down girl!" I laugh at my freaking out/star struck best friend .
"CALM DOWN? HOW CAN I BE CALM? YOU JUST TOLD ME THAT YOU NOW ARE FRIENDS WITH BRASHTON, AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CALM?" She kept ranting loudly and I kept laughing. (A.N okay everyone I'm trying so hard not use emojis but damn it's hard lol)
"Girl chill, I know it's amazing, okay who am I kidding it's AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." At this point, my bedroom door flew open and there I saw my two other best friends with Miranda rushing in behind them.
The three wore anxious expressions on their faces and I just stared blankly at them.
"Um Ari, you still alive?" Shay's voice got us all back to "reality".
"Ohhhh it's Shay, I bet they were talking about the befriending Hollywood thingy." Reina says, impressing me with her use of term to call my friendship with Ash and Bry.
During the past two weeks after my birthday party, I guess they took a liking to us and we hung out a few times, okay almost eight times and yes I counted, can't blame a fangirl now can we?
"Ariel are you okay?"
I look at the three year old, laugh and awe at the same time "yes baby girl I'm okay, don't worry I was just having a screaming contest with Shay over here, say hi to her?"
"Hi Shay" Mira says shyly to my laptop with a wave.
"Hi Miranda, how are you?" Shay says in a baby voice, this girl and her relationship with kids, she's amazing when it comes to dealing with them; they love her then she goes around saying she hates kids.
"I'm good. Now I have to go, Ari and Shay please don't have another screaming contest, my friends and I are trying to watch cartoons in peace out there." Mira says and leaves the room running.
"That girl has got some sass, Ari you rubbed off on her!" Reina points an accusing finger at me. Shay and I laugh at her. "Wait something's off?" She asks.
I think about her question then realize that she's talking about Alex, he's been so quiet since he came in, he didn't even say hi.
"Yo, Diego why so quiet?"
"Alex's here?" Shay says sounding a bit like she's lying.
"Oh yeah I am, hey Shay." Alex says rubbing the back of his neck.
Mhm I smell something fishy, I glance at Reina and see her thinking face on, okay she's on the same page as I am.
During the rest of the Skype call, I told her about everything that happened when I hung out with Bry and Ash, she was too excited at first then she kept looking at her phone, saying that she's talking to her classmates about some important issue with a teacher and stuff like that.
As for Reina she filled in the spaces when I forgot to narrate something to Shay, who just hummed and got more invested with her texting than the conversation.
At one point she suddenly broke into a fit of laughter, and much to our surprise Alex fell into a fit of laughter too, thing is Shay's cheeks turned red a blush red which only happens if she's talking to a boy who's flattering her.
"Alex gimme your phone." Reina's voice cut the fit of laughter Alex and Shay were in and a look of shock took over their faces.
Interesting.
"Why?"
"Because I said so? Now give it to me."
"No."
"Don't you dare say no to me."
"I do what I want." Alex shrugged.
I could see a nervous look on Shay's face but I decided to leave this to Reina and I zoned out.
"Okay then Alex, who are you texting that made you laugh like that?"
"Come on Reina leave him alone." Shay speaks up.
"Shut it Shay before I hack your phone and see who you were really texting." She gave Shay the look.
Then Reina's face lit up like she got an idea, and she grabbed her phone quickly with a devilish smile on her face.
"Uh oh would you look at the time, Spongebob is on gotta go then talk to later loves." Shay quickly said blowing air kisses to the camera. I just waved and smiled still trying to process and ignore what I know might be happening.
"What!?" Alex asks panicked, and Reina just says "Oh!"
I notice Shay mouthing 'sorry' to Alex I guess and bam she's out.
"ALEX! THIS CANNOT HAPPEN!" Reina shouted at Alex.

Okay I'm ready to be killed. But I have reasons: I fell sick four times, school is too hard this year and I had a writer's block plus 2016 is just a shitty year.
Anyways uh oh cliffhanger -not really- but just wait for it.
