Avery
This can't be real.
This can't be happening.
Fuck.I exhaled as a royal bus pulled up. It was only 5am and still dark outside. Immediately two men stepped out and grabbed my bags.
"You have 7 minutes to say goodbye Ms.Rose." One said.
I turned to face my family. My family... the ones I thought I'd be around for forever but now, I was being taken away from. Reality started to sink in.
"Call me?" Sophie asked.
"If I can, sweetie. I promise." I kissed her forehead and hugged tightly.
"My darling, I'm going to miss you so much." My mother whispered.
I didn't say anything, I just hugged her. I was on the verge of tears but I wouldn't dare cry in front of Sophie. I let go of my mother's embrace and looked at my Dad. He ran a hand through his blonde curls. I hugged him tightly.
"Daddy." I sobbed.
He kissed my forehead and let go. "Take care of yourself sweetheart."
I nodded, giving everyone one last sad smile before turning around and getting on my bus.
When I got on, there were already 5 people there. 4 guards, two at each door, and a woman in a business suit. She looked about 30 or so, with blonde hair. She smiled at me.
"Hello Avery, care to sit down?" She motioned to the small table to the side of us.
Despite how I was feeling, I smiled back and sat down across from her.
"I'm Cameron, but you can call me Cam if you'd like. I'll be your... manager as we make this transition into Eastern Territory."
"Okay."
She opened a folder and pulled out some papers.
"First, these are the guidelines. You must, be obeying to the Prince, under any circumstances."
I pretended to read over the words and handed it back to her.
"What if he rapes me?" I blurted out.
"It's not rape if you give up willingly."
Well damn.
"...and I've heard the Prince is quite the looker, so that shouldn't be hard." She smirked.
I wanted to puke. "Okay. What's next?"
"You will also be acting as an advocate. Persuading the Prince to persuade the King about the treaty."
"Wait so they are not automatically signing it once they get me?"
"No. You're sort of a.... a bribe." She half smiled.
I sucked my teeth.
"Finally, you must always be on your best, best, best behavior. Part of my job is to teach you how to be a proper lady. If the Prince becomes fond of you, your life in the Castle will be wonderful."
"And if he doesn't?"
"You may be killed."
I blinked. This was serious. It really all depended on me. The prince could hate me regardless, but at least I'd try.
"When does my training start?"
"We'll start most of it will today. We should be in Ireland in two days."
Two days.
As if she could read my mind, Cam said, "They're giving me time to get you together first."

FanficI took a deep breath. "Okay, let me get this right. In order to get the Eastern Territory to sign a treaty with us, you plan on giving Prince Niall a girl, as a peace offering. And you want me to be this girl?" King Aaron nodded. "Precisely." "What...
