[seventh grade]

"you know, i read this one thing on the internet before."

he shot her a look. "no one asked."

she narrowed her eyes, obviously offended even though she knew that it was only a joke. "well sucks to be you, i'll tell you anyway. apparently, seven-years-friendships are bound to last long."

his eyes lit up in excitement and exclaimed happily, "that's great! we get to stay together — "

he let out an obnoxious groan, leaning against his seat. "that means i have to tolerate the both of you for the rest of my life."

"as if we want to see your crappy face everyday! i'm sick of it!" she snapped at him, trying to hurt his feelings in any way she could. but deep down she knew him so well, of course he wouldn't get hurt. he leaned forward with his chin on his palm, a slight smirk evident on his face. "no one told you to look at it."

the trio bickered back and forth as each moments passed by. they wouldn't admit it then, but they hoped that the fact was actually true. they've been through thick and thin together, and it's safe to say that each of them held a part of each other in them.

hi :-) this is inspired by real life events! i feel like jeno and jaemin's friendship is amazing, i'm glad to have my own bestfriend. meanwhile, guess who is who in this prologue thing! i'm really excited for this and i hope you all will enjoy this as much as i do writing it ✌️
