Alden

"There will be no damage control! What are you talking about? I will release a press statement soon, but for now, we will be quiet." I tell Sam. He is getting frustrated about me not giving a statement.

Everyone is asking about the photo that has gone viral. I got a direct message from Liz, telling me that the press is also bombarding her with emails and phone calls asking her about the mystery woman. She said she is ignoring them and it's good that she's still here in the US for the next three weeks so they can't really get to her except through emails and phone calls. She also said that she is really happy for me.

My family called as well, just asking how Maine and I are doing and how is she after the photo. The good thing is that Maine is really taking this media sensationalism of the photo so lightly. Although there are a few negative write ups, most of it are just wonder. I'm sure after I release my statement, the issue will die down. But for now, I am still enjoying having Maine to myself, away from the media and the fans. Let her remain as the mystery woman for a few more days.

I asked her to change her privacy in all her social media accounts, only because I don't want the media to get hold of her accounts and use her photos and posts without her permission, and I'm glad that she immediately followed with no complaints whatsoever.

We stayed in the townhouse the whole Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday night, we went to Whole Foods to buy some groceries.  Maine told me that it's much nicer to do grocery shopping at night since it's not as crowded and the staff does refilling of stock at night in preparation for tomorrow's retail day, so most produce are much fresher.  She let me drive the Mini Cooper, top down, and I really enjoyed it. I am not sure though if I will get used to driving the busy and crazy streets of New York.

"Pero RJ, sinasabon na ako ng corporate office. Hinihintay nila yung sagot mo. They just wanted to know kung sino si Maine and kung bakit ngayon lang nila 'to nalalaman." Sam berated over the phone.

"Sam, this is my personal life. This is not part of my contract. I have the option to tell them or not. So tell them that I will release my statement soon. I am still in hiatus, so technically I don't have to answer to them."

I saw my lovely girlfriend entering the roof top garden and was looking for me. As soon as she saw me, she smiled and nodded. I waved at her to come and sit with me for a minute. I am sitting on one of the cushioned benches.

"Alden please." Sam pleaded.

"No Sam. I'm sorry. They just have to wait. Okay I got to go now." I tell him and I ended the call.

"I hope you don't get in trouble because of me." Maine sat beside me and I drape my arms around her bare shoulders. She is wearing a cute dress and some white sneakers.

"I will never be in trouble babe. Didn't I tell you, I am ready to quit show business. I have businesses back home and I already have enough savings. But babe, I will give my statement about you soon but not now. I am still savoring my time with you, because as soon as I let out your identity, you will be hunted by media and fans too."

"Alright. Just know that whatever you decide, I got your back."

"I know babe."

"Okay, are you ready to explore Central Park?" She beamed at me.

"Yes po, let's go!"
