Alden

"Ate Maine, what about this?"  Riza asked, holding yet another purse.

"Oh yes, we should get that!"  Maine replied.

I look at Riza and Maine who are having a wonderful time shopping and yes,  I joined them.  You very well know that I am not letting Maine out of my sight. My grandparents decided to stay behind the hotel and hit the slot machines in the casino.  April and MamaTen are also inside the store looking at a table full of wallets.  My dad is sitting beside me.

He kidded, nudging me on the shoulder.

I tell him.

You deserve this, yun ganitong klaseng happiness.

"Hay naku dad, kilala mo ako, medyo conservative."

My dad interrupted.

"Dad!" I whined. "E ayun na na nga po. Nung minsan na nag beach kami. Susmaryosep!

I grinned at him.

"Oo nga anak, mabuti naman. Bilisan nyo ha at bigyan nyo na ako ng apo!" He remarked.

I look at my dad and shook my head.

Oh dad, if only I can tell you now.

"Babe, I'm tired." Maine whined, sitting beside me. She leaned her head on my arms and settled there.

"Rest for a little bit, here." I tell her, draping my arms over her shoulder, so she'll be more comfortable. "You girls are non-stop ever since we got here."

We are inside The Michael Kors shop in the outlet mall, right now. So far we have at least ten bags, not counting the smaller bags that I put inside the bigger shopping bags. And I can tell that we are adding a few more.

"Okay Ate Maine, I only want these two." Riza tells Maine, showing her two bags.

"You're not getting the pink one? It's cute." Maine replied.

"I already got three from Tory Burch. It's too much."

"Do you want the pink bag or not?" She asked Riza.

"I do." My sister replied shyly.

"Then get it." Maine tells her.

"Okay." Riza replied happily, walking away to get the other bag.

What is it with woman and purses? I don't get it. Watching these two banter about purses is entertaining. I guess I will see more of it.

"Are we ready to check out?" She asked Riza, who came back with the pink bag.

"Yes."

Maine gets up and went with Riza to pay their purchase.

"Babe, let me get it, so you can rest more." I tell her.
