Chapter 20

~One week later~

"Happy birthday to yoou!" Daisy blows out her candles and giggles.
"I'm 13!" She yells. Shane claps his hands and helps you up with your crutches. You needed them on for a month.

Suddenly your laptop makes a noise.
You open it to see your mom skyping you. You anwser the call and your mom smiles. "Hey Y/n! Hey Shane!"
She says greeting you both. You wave and shane yells "Heey! Ms. L/n"

Daisy runs to the laptop and smiles. "Hi mommy!" she says happily. "Happy birthday sweetie I love you!" Your mom says making a heart with her hands.

"So how is it living in with shane and your sister in Florida?" asks your mom. Your sister smiles and says "I love it and I have a lot of friends and Shane is the best he let me be in a video!" Shane chuckles and hugs Daisy.

Your mom smiles and says "That's great sweetie! But I really have to get back to work. Bye and happy birthday." You all wave and hang up.

You walk with your crutches to the bouncany of your new house. You have a clear view of the sea and you can smell the ocean air.

Shane comes to your side and kisses you roughly. You kiss back and lean into him. He pulls a arm around you and watches the sunset with you. Daisy goes to the edge of the bouncany and whistles.

For the first time in life you have a safe happy life with family and an amazing boyfriend. You realize that shane was right because all you had to do was...

This was made for my best friend who sadly died recently but I know she would have enjoyed this story.
