Screams erupted the silence. She sat up and tears escaped her eyes, burning her cool cheeks. Her brown hair seemed curlier and crazier with the insanity of her tears and screams.

"Cela, are you alright? Is everything alright?" Her grandmother asked, rushing in.

"I seen it." Cela breathed, her brown eyes full of tears. "I seen a boy be taken by it. A little boy. Why would...?"

"Sh," her grandmother sat next to her, smoothing Cela's hair. "It's all okay. Breathe."

Cela inhaled deeply, trying to rid of tears and go back to sleep.

Cela Rosemary was the town's fortune teller of sorts. No one during that time knew what her abilities could do, or how it worked, they thought it was a beautiful magic.

Townspeople who suffered a loss would show up weekly, others occasionally visited. Others, like Jonathan Byers, were just there to see a friend.

The Rosemary house was dimly lit and the walls lined with pictures of Cela's childhood or paintings of flowers. In fact, a lot of things were floral, including the blanket that covered the couch, and the kitchen table had actual flowers in a vase.

Cela had finished her sessions for the day, and told her grandmother she was going to sleep so she could be ready for school tomorrow, in which her grandmother gave her a drink of tea and sent her to her room.

In reality, she wanted to dream. For the first time in a long time, Cela hoped for dreams, since they weren't really dreams at all. They never were, really.

She closed her eyes and let herself be transported.

"Hello?" A voice whispered.

"Hi, again." Cela said, crouching. The little boy had messed up hair, and was drenched in fear.

"You're back." He whispered.

"Of course." She replied. "Everyone is looking for you."

"Tell them where I am."

"They won't believe me. They think I'm crazy." She motioned crazy with her hands around her ears. "I'll find a way to get you out. Until then, I will keep you company every night. The monster can't get you then."

"Thanks, Cela."

"It's nothing." She smiled. "Cmon, Will, let's go to the hideaway."
