"Let's go! Hustle! Act like you have somewhere to be!" My dad shouts. I grab my gym bag, fill up my water bottle, and run out the door, slipping on my converse while hopping on one foot to the car. I get into the car and set my bag down. Dad comes into the car soon after me.

"Where have you been? I've been waiting forever" I say sarcastically. He laughs.

We finally get to the gym and I run inside. I see my friends, Bailee, Renee, and Justice. They are all a bit older then me. Bailee is 15, Renee is 14, and Justice is almost 14. I'm pretty young out of all of them, but I'm still really good friends with all of them, especially Justice.

As we are working on our full twists, I see the boys gymnastics group come through. I do my round off back handspring full with some help from my coach. I finish and hear some clapping. I look up and see Toby.

"Your amazing!" He says. I smile.

"Thanks" I say out of breath.

"So you do gymnastics?" I ask him.

"Ya, recently just got my layout on the ground" he says.

"Nice!" I say.

"Toby! Let's go!" I hear his coach yell.

"I have to go, but I'll see you at school. Are you in eighth grade?" He asks.

"Nope, seventh" I reply.

"Cool, cool. Well bye I guess" he says. He jogs to his group while I watch him jog away, then turn back to my group. I let out a little yell because when I look behind me, all of them are standing directly behind me.

"How long have you been standing there?" I ask, putting my hand to my chest.

"Since he left" Renee answers.

"So who is that? Are you dating?" Bailee asks.

"No! I met him at the new café a few days ago, like 3 days ago. We sang together and stuff" I say.

"Cool. So what's his name?" Bailee asks.

"Toby, and I just found out that he's in eighth grade" I say. She gives me a thumbs up. I laugh.

"Alright ladies! Back to work!" Our coach yells.

We work on our front tucks, over-splits, front aerials, climbing the rope in a straddle, walking on our hands, and our cartwheel back layout. I look to where the boys are, and see Toby do a double layout on the ground. He jumps around with excitement. I smile. He's so cute.

Wait. I didn't just think that. I don't... like him. Do I?

Hope you liked it!

So I just joined debate club and I need a topic to argue about. I'm just arguing about anything or defending a topic for 30 seconds to a minute. Any ideas?

Love you all!
