Xavier 's P.O.V.
It is today, I could only hope it all went in our favour."Grivan Vampires, today we take on the werewolves of the Silver Bound, it would be a fitting revenge seeing what they have done to us, they killed my family, leaving me as the only vampire able to reproduce through birth. Today, we empty the reservoirs of our rage on their kingdom!!, run as fast as you can, reach the barriers of this empire, take to the trees and wait for the expected arrival of our enemies. Waste no time, kill any attacker swiftly and push toward their mansion. This war will end in our favour!!". My last words sent all the vampires into a frenzy as they ran for the forests, shouting and cheering out war cries.
The witches were already working on spell that would numb the senses of the wolves once they reached the beginning of my lands.I will make sure to kill Jerome myself. He will not see the end of this war.

We had gone first as a decoy, masking the vampires in the voluminous trees of the forests, the trees were thick and had the darkest trunks. Xavier had assigned a guard to me to make sure I went according to the plan which was to let him kill Jerome, it bruised me all the same time made me full of joy. He cared but he was restricting me from satisfaction. The female guard was in a cloak, hiding amongst us as the wolves approached. I could hear them, feel the vibrations. Birds darted out of the trees as if sensing what was to come as the trees shrouded the graying sky. The silver armour under my cloak grew cold by the second, I had long expected Jerome's cowardly nature for when his army came into view, there was no sign of him, his second-in-command lead the banter of savages.
He halted them all as he stepped forward grabbing me by the throat.
"The last time we met, things did not end in your favour. What makes you think things will change?".
I looked at his hand around my throat, then back at him."You are quite the unsuspecting fool". Anger flooded his face as it contorted into a scowl. He rose his hand to strike as Laelah's voice broke through.
"You will do no such thing. If you were smart enough then you would know that you need her". The guard was wise.
"And who are you to speak to me in such disrespect?".
"Take my word for it, you do not need to know who I am". She bared her fangs at him he jumped back in fear and realisation.
"Take to the trees, now!!" I yelled as she was gone before the next heartbeat.
"Your friend is gone. Let us see what sharp tongue you have now".
I laughed."Fiona has some things to say". And as I said this, she stretched her hands forward as the earth beneath us pulsed, it shook the men off their feet as they lost balance.
The vampires took this as a sign jumping down onto the swarm of wolves, the stance of the wolves changed as they tried to defend themselves against the rain of vampires. I took his distraction as an opportunity, throwing him off into the distance. Xavier barked commands as he pushed his warriors forward, fighting alongside them.
The rains poured angrily, drenching us in its downpour.
"Maura, go now, waste no time, finish up the spell". I ran toward the safe clearing Xavier had prepared for me to enhance the speed, vigilance, strength of the turned vampires to be equal to any wolf on a full moon, if Raelyn was drawing power from the coming moon, then I will draw power from the soldiers, Raelyn had tested me for too long, taking my kindness for weakness. If this war takes her life then I will be glad that that it will not be by my hands.
I flipped through the three books layed in front of me. They were in a foreign language, I could not comprehend it neither could I pronounce any of the words, it was pure gibberish. I ran my hands over the letters as if then, they would make more sense.
The only thing I could think of to solve this predicament was natural magic.
I set the book down on the grass as I closed my eyes in a steady focus, whispers called to me, I could feel the voices reaching out to grasp a part of me. They spoke in a foreign language, a headache spread through my skull as a light flashed in my closed eyes. The book set before me flipped its pages as the winds came with force and sand, blowing my hair in different directions.
I reached for the book as I chanted the wordings on the browned pages, this shocked me as my voice went baritone, increasing my voice I felt the magic begin to run through my blood. It was hot and was painfully acidic, the spell had started to weigh me down as the moon was just breaking the face of the sky. It was nearly as silver as my eyes and as it came out fully, howls pierced through the night air, I focused on the proud second-in-command as I stretched a hand through the void getting a hold on his essence as I sapped what power Raelyn had supplied. I distributed the power to all the newly turned vampires, her magic flowed through the wolf link. Just enough to share through out the whole palace.
I left the clearing, back to the battleground. It was a wasteland. The others had started moving for the mansion of the wolves, Hevea and Fiona flanked me as we walked.
Two wolves hurdled towards us as on of them shifts to war form in the air, they do not attack me however. It all happened so fast, Hevea was cut down as Fiona's throat was slit with claws right before my eyes.
"No!!". I screamed as their lifeless bodies dropped to the ground. Streaks if tears fell down my eyes as a sudden anger buzzed through me.
I stretched my hands forward as their hearts broke the skin on their chests, flying out in tune with my rage.
I ran to the bodies of my sisters, Hevea was still alive. I took her hand in mine as I chanted for healing.
"Maura, you cannot save me. I am at the veil. Death is just a grasp away, it is far too late".
"No!!, Hevea. Please, you cannot die now. We have come so far, it is just not time to give up". Her eyelids dropped as a pain filled ny chest.
No, Jerome cannot take everything from me and live. First was my freedom, then my sister, he wages war against my people and now, this. I have had it!!.
