Chapter Eight

Ken POV

It was 12 at night and everyone had left so I helped my mother clean the house when I realized that De'Arra was in the car

I ran outside and all I saw was the car door opened and the keys that I gave her on the ground

I rushed back inside and told my mother

I then called the whole gang over

De'Arra POV

I woke up to me myself in a dark room

I looked down at my body and I was beat up badly

I was scared and I didn't know what to do

I tried breaking my arms and legs loose

Luckily it worked when I did I checked my pockets and realized I still had my phone so I texted Ken

After I sent the text I heard people coming

I wasn't bout to let them beat me up so I used my hands and patted around me to see if I had a weapon

I layed my hand on a gun and tried my best to mive myself near the closet near the door so I can get a good shooting point

When they walked in

I moved myself to the side nd saw everyone dead

I then used the wall tryin' to hold my balance

I stood up holding the gun carefully

I was getting ready to wake my way down the staira when I realized one of the people I shot was Aubrwy

My heart began to beet harder and harder

It wae clearly obvious that I was scared

I quietly walked down the stairs when I saw a figure moving

Before I could point my gun I was pushed on the floor

I tried to get up but the person kept on throwing glass at me since I dodged every punch he threw at me

The glass got into my skin and my eyes closed

Ken POV

I tracked down the location De'Arra was in and made a plan with the boys then headed out

When we got there we parked on the other side of the street

When I walked in my eyes flashed before my eyes

When I got closer I saw De'Arra covered in blood and a gun in her hands

All of a sudden i felt a shadow over me

I turned around and saw Shawn I kept throwin' blows at his face repeatedly

Andre and Sam both pulled me back

" Take him to the trap and tie him down I'm taking D to the hospital" I told everyone

I quickly grabbed De'Arra puttin' her in my car and then drove to the hospital passing every red light

" HELP, SOMEBODY I NEED A DOCTOR MY GIRLFRIEND HAS BEEN ABUSED" I cried out

They came and grabbed her out of my hands and rushed her to a room

I called everyone to let them know what hospital I was in

They all came to support which I thank them for that

" Family of De'Arra Taylor " The doctor said

We all stood up 

" What is your relationship with her" The doctor asked

" I'm her boyfriend and this is my family and friends" I said

" Thanks for coming to show support" the doctor said

" De'Arra is responding to our treatments really well. We cleaned up all her cuts managing to get all the glasses out. She is a survivor. All I'm going to ask is for her to be on bed rest for a week " the doctor said

" Can we go see her" I asked

"  You can come back tommorow she really needs her rest " the doctor said then walked away

" Alright lets go Ken " Mama said 

" You can go I'm staying here" I said

" Come on you have to go get some rest" she said

" No not when my future wife is here fighting for her life" I told her

" I'll stay here with Ken Mama J can you please take Emily with you " Nathaniel asked her

" Sure baby " she said

Nathaniel POV

I can't believe Shawn would team up with Aubrey and do this shit to De'Arra

I'm glad she's ok though

I really love her and I don't know what I would do if she was gone

Me and Ken are sitting in the waiting room in deep thoughts

" Ken it's gonna be alright she'll be fine" I said cheering him up

" It's not ok shes here because I was fuckin' around with crazy how that won't leave me alone " he said

" We all make mistakes but don't worry God has a reason for everything" I told him

" I guess you right" he said

" Nigga I'm always right " I said

" Whatever man " he said

" What we gonna do with Shawn" I asked him

" We gonna wait till De'Arra heals first then I'ma make him die slowly" he said

"  Ion' think that's enough" I said

" I know but what am I suppose to do its better then him staying alive" he said

We stayed in the hospital all night until the doctor's gave us a chance to see De'Arra
