Chapter Eighteen

Tyler POV

It's been 2 weeks and it's now the second week of December

Everything is ready for my wedding except the date because we don't know how long De'Arra is gonna recover and like I said I'm not getting married unless she's there

  King and his girlfriend Ashley have been helping out a lot especially when they have a 1 year old son and trust me he is a handful

Right now the whole family and gang is with Ken

We are all here taking care of the kids trying to cheer him up and it's 7 at night and he still isn't happy

We were all just watching T.V until his phone rung

Ken POV

Ion even no why everyone here cause if D not here then I'm not happy

It's pretty obvious no one can cheer me up unless it's De'Arra

They was trying to make me laugh but all I did was drink my bottle of wine when someone called my phone

PHONE CONVO

Me: Hello
Otherline: Hello I'm calling to tell you about De'Arra Taylor
Me: Yes
Otherline:Okay well she's awake and ready to go so you can come and sign the release papers
Me: Alright I'll be there in 10 min

END OF PHONE CONVO

I then got off the phone smiling hard ass hell

" Boy what's wrong with you " Mama J asked 

" The hospital just called me. I have to pick up De'Arra from the hospital " I said

" What you waitin' for go bring my baby home " Mama J said

I grabbed my jacket cause it was cold ass hell then I left and headed to the hospital

4 HOURS LATER

So I just got out the hospital and I have De'Arra with me

She looked pale but she's fine

The Doctor said she's gonna need to wear light shirts because she has this big as bandage rapped around her belly but it's gonna be hard cause it Winter but it's ok cause we have a heater in my house

However she walks proper but slow that's why they gave her crutches but trust me I know she ain't gonna use it

We're finally at the house so I parked my car and grabbed the crutches and walked to the side of her car and opened the door and gave it to her

We reached the front of the house

I then open the door with my keys and step aside so she can come in

De'Arra POV

I walked inside the house and just when I expected that it was gonna be just me and Ken I saw everyone here.

As I walked in with my crutches Jayden ran to me and squeezed me while hugging me

* gasps in pain *

" Oh sorry Auntie I just missed you " Jayden said

I tried speaking but I just couldn't the words I wanted to say just didn't come out so I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek

After that I just went straight upstairs so I could change out of these heavy cloths

When I got upstairs in my room I decided I was gonna take a bath but I can't cause my stomach so I used a rag with soap and a bucket of hot water and rinsed my body
