Paris' POV.
Mystic Falls..... my home. At least, it used to be. I went to New York with Dad after him and Mom split. I've always hated our house in Mystic Falls. Too close to the woods, too close to the animals ripping people apart and draining them of blood. But, I'm being forced to move back. Dad got a boyfriend, so no room for me. Yay! *Insert Sarcasm*
I watched as the movers put all my stuff in Mom and Caroline's house. "Moving back here will be good for you." Mom said, patting my knee. Yeah right, not even close. "So I've been told." I muttered. "Hey, Paris, I'm goin' to the grill. Wanna come?" Caroline asked. "Sure." I mumbled. I'll do anything to get away from that wretched house, which I now had to call home.
"Come on." Caroline smiled, walking down the sidewalk. I ran after her, almost killing myself over the curb. "Is it just me or are you a lot more clumsy?" Caroline chuckled. "No, I'm more clumsy. I trip over air on a daily basis." I said, serious. "Do I need to wrap you in bubble wrap?" Caroline asked, amused. "Probably." I nodded. "I was joking." Caroline said. "I wasn't." I replied.
"Oh, wow. How do you survive?" Caroline asked, jokingly. "I have no idea. It's a mystery to us all." I laughed. She shook her head and pushed open the doors to the Mystic Grill. Alcohol and the laughter of teenagers filled my senses. "Home sweet home." Caroline sighed lovingly. Maybe you think so, but I don't! "Yeah." I said, putting on a fake smile.
She grabbed my arm and pulled along, leading me to a booth where 2 teenagers sat. "Caroline, join us for a drink?" A man with a british accent asked. She stopped, making me bump into her, and turned around. "I'd rather die of thirst, but thanks anyway." She replied sweetly. She resumed walked, not waiting for the man's response.
"I'm not even gonna ask." I said. "I'll explain it later, but not right now." Caroline sighed, sitting down next to the teenagers, making me sit down too. "Care, who is this?" Elena Gilbert asked. Typical! No one remembers me! "You seriously don't remember Paris?" Caroline asked, sounding slightly offended. "Paris!" She squealed. "Why does no one recognize me?!" I asked bitterly.
"You look a lot different. You're hot now." Elena said. "Gee, thanks." I said, sarcastic. Was she suggesting that I wasn't hot 4 years ago? Pfft, whatever! "She didn't mean it like that. You were pretty back then too." Bonnie assured. "You had Jeremy drooling over you!" Elena agreed. "Hey, guys." Jeremy said, walking up. "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear." I muttered. Caroline giggled and winked at him.
"Who is this?" Jeremy asked. "Seriously?!" I asked, getting pissed. "It's Paris, Jeremy!" Caroline said in a duh tone. "Hey, long time, no see!" He said, smiling brightly. "Unfortunately." I agreed. "I gotta go, but I'll see you around." Jeremy said, walking off.
"So, do you like Jeremy?" Caroline asked, fighting a giggle. "I mean, I used to. But not anymore. He was like a brother to me." I said, seeing the slightly mad/sad look on Bonnie's face. Does she have a thing for Jeremy? Go for it, girl!
