"See you guys later, Bulma! And thanks for everything!" Goku yelled at Bulma as he waved at her from dozens of feet above the ground.
Bulma waved back at him, Trunks stood next to her and also waved at Goku and the others. "No problem, Goku. And I'll call you if I found anything else." Bulma yelled back at him. Goku nodded as he, Gohan, Goten, and Segira floated higher into the sky. Of course, since Segira was still new to flying, she was holding onto Gohan's hand and staying close to him until she could fly on her own. Gohan was still blushing a bit from holding her hand and having her so close, but he was starting to get over it. "And Segira," Bulma called again, catching Segira's attention. "Good luck with your training."
Segira smiled and nodded. "Thanks Bulma." She said, but they were so far away now that Bulma didn't hear her.
"Come on guys, we should get going before it gets too late." Goku said, catching Gohan's, Goten's, and Segira's attention.
The three of them nodded in agreement and all four of them took off, moving slower than usual for Segira. Segira looked around with wide eyes as they flew over cities, mountains, forests and plains, and before she knew it, she was flying all by herself with no help from anyone.
"So this is what it's like to fly..." She thought to herself as she flew next to Gohan and Goten, Goku was leading the way. She smiled to herself as the wind blew her newly cut hair back and out of her face, closing her eyes a bit as she enjoyed that feeling. "It's even better than I thought it would be!" She opened her eyes again and looked back over her shoulder to look at the black sky that was dotted with what looked like thousands of stars. She turned around, her back facing the ground far below, and stared up at the night sky in amazement as she flew backward. Even though she was new at flying, she surprisingly had no trouble flying backwards as she gazed at the large, half-full moon with wide eyes. "That's the moon? It's so beautiful! Why didn't the scientists want me to see it? It's not killing me or anything."
"Hey, Segira?" Gohan asked, snapping Segira back into reality.
She looked at him, still flying backward. "Yeah?" She asked.
"You might wanna turn around to see where you're going and what's going on."
She blinked and stared at him for a moment before speaking up. "Oh, okay, sorry..." She said as she turned back around. She looked over her shoulder at the night sky again though. "I've never seen the moon or the stars before though..."
Gohan shook his head slowly. "There's no need to apologize, Segira. I don't blame you for wanting to see the moon, but you also need to know where you're going."
She looked down and nodded slowly. "Alright, I'll pay attention..." She said before looking forward.
Gohan stared at her for a moment before looking forward again. "She just learned how to fly, and she can fly backwards at this speed with ease? I guess it has something to do with all the Saiyan DNA she has." He thought. He glanced back at Segira from the corner of his eye. Even though they've been increasing their speed, Segira had no problem keeping up with them, and she didn't have any problems with the wind blowing in her face. She was a good flyer, but how was she in a fight when she wasn't using a different Saiyan's fighting style and/or attitude? Gohan looked forward again. "Guess we'll find out in a few days." He thought to himself again.
"Hey Chichi, we're home! Sorry we're so late, something came up." Goku called as he, Gohan, Goten, and Segira landed next to a small house that was next to a large forest and a small river. Segira looked around the area with wide eyes, amazed at everything she saw while Goku approached the house. "Chichi?" "Please don't be too mad..." He asked, thinking the last part.
