Amaryllis.

A stunning faeries kingdom that from afar looked like a place of wonder, Amaryllis looked as if it was ripped from fairytales, embraced in the beauty and serenity of the Gods and ruled by a powerful and charming Emperor and his royal family.

They all lived in a huge castle built into imaculate white marble decorated in bright luminous elements. Enchansing this view were the perfectly crafted arcades, statues and other architectural wonders.

Everything was in place, looking absolutely perfect

Everything was in place, looking absolutely perfect. This landscape, the entire picture that the kingdom was offering was flawless, making you feel at peace with your soul.

The city around the great castle was also a splendor. Specially designed buildings were assorted in different shapes and matched colors. The beautiful floral arrangements carefully placed on each house's doorstep were doing no less than adding to the already vibrant scenery.

Most of the kingdom's population was comprised of people ranking all the way from the Emperor's royal family, to rich merchants, farmers and even beggars. Unlike the outskirts of Amaryllis, things inside the city were quite different. There wasn't a single faerie begging for money of the roads, everyone had a their position and status assured by the kingdom which, in turn, kept a steady economy flowing.

The Emperor, keeping everything under his wing, assured constantly that his kingdom will be populated only by the most sincere, well educated and hard working people. He didn't want to have his honor stained by the presance of faeries with any murderous intetion, or by those who sit idly while life passes by.

Amaryllis had the most breath taking places around Faerisu. From the finest magical forests, littered with noble creatures, to the pearled sea side embrodied with soft golden sand margined by the great blue ocean.

Gardens full of the most varied species of beautiful flowers were part of the kingdom's natural variety.

The Emperor's beloved children, influenced by this peaceful and delicate environment and well educated by their parents, grew up to be seemingly perfect, presenting no sign of disrespect or unprovoked hatred.  The empress, on the other side, had a shorter life. It is rumoured that long ago something tragic happened that led to her death.

The Emperor, being very proud of his children, knew that one day each of them would end up being just as good a ruler as he was.

Despite the burden of the undergoing wars and the thought of his wife's death, the Emperor did not dare let his feelings cloud his judgement and kept acting like a sturdy beacon of hope for his children, for he had too heavy a responsability to show any sign of weakness.

Amaryllis had a huge army of various types of cavalry ranging from melee fighters and riders to archers and the very imposing noble legion.
This legion was mainly in charge of training the new recruits into becoming the bulk of the emperor's army. During a war they would only show up on the battlefield only if the situation was dire enough for them to be needed, always having their faces covered no matter what. Their presence would lead the empire to its victory every time. They were known as the Emperor's secret weapon, legendary due to their prowess in military combat, only using their specially designed magical blades to cut through any foe thrown at them, fronted by their admirable captain. Common folk knew them as heroes because of their bravery, kindness and eloquent behaviour. Besides the legion itself, there was also the less known royal consular, whose job was to aid the emperor in his decision future decisions.

The current safety of Amaryllis was endangered by the currently undergoing war. Although the city was though to be impenetrable, faeries were understandably worried for their homes and for their lives.Despite their worries, the Emperor, able to keep a cool head, reassured them whenever necesary that there was no reason for alert, suggesting them to calmy go on with their daily activities.

Unlike the other battles, this one has been started under mysterious circumstances by an unknown kingdom shrouded in darkness and obscurity. In spite of the element of surprise being on the side of the enemy, Amaryllis has never known defeat and was far from close to accepting this threat as a real danger.

Armies were mobilized on the battlefield and everyone sworn to protect their homes and their loved ones no matter the cost, for dying with honor was a worthy death as long as it meant a bright future for Amaryllis.
