CHANYEOL P.O.V

I was fidgeting around with my sweater sleeves as I waited for Hye Ra to show up. I was sitting on the bench fro exactly 3 hours. I was so nervous as it was months since we last met face to face, I just somehow arrived at the hill 5 hours early. I shuffled my feet on the soft grass and looked to my boots, not knowing how to react once she arrives.

"Hey, Hye Ra!" I practiced, talking to the air in front of me."No... too childish."

"Sup." I tried once again. "No...too douchy. She may slap me on the face."

I chewed the insides of my cheek and furrowed my eyebrows, glancing over to the side to see a gigantic basket , with a checkered cloth covering the top. I stared at it, trying to think of a way to greet Hye Ra and also to not sound too desperate, douchy or childish.

"Channie!" I heard a voice called out. I whipped my head around and saw Hye Ra waving at me, wearing casual clothing, just ripped jeans and a plain white tee. "Did I keep you waiting?"

"N-No! Not at all!" I replied a little too enthusiastically. I stood up and went to reach for the big basket she was holding, but instead of handing it over to me, she instead looked up and puffed out her cheeks.

"You look so tall, I am jealous..." She complained, tip-toeing to make herself seem taller. I chuckled and ruffled her dark locks and grabbed her basket, before proceeding to carry mine too and walked up the hill.

The sun was just setting , casting a beautiful hue in the sky. The clouds were dusted in orange color and the sky painted orange and faded purple. I unfolded the picnic at and Hye Ra brought out the food she made and fruits she bought from the grocery shop. She smiled contentedly with the wide array of foods and patted an empty spot beside her. I smiled and sat down next to the girl, she passed me an apple to eat.

"I really missed you when you were away ." She said quietly, looking at her half-eaten sandwich. Her long hair flew in the wind and it made her seem more beautiful under the colors of the sky. " I really missed going out with you like this..."

"I too missed you. Training was tiring and I just wanted to get it over with and meet you again." I added out, taking a huge bite of the juicy apple. I chewed it and continued. "I just got a day off as I literally begged my manager."

She smiled and turned at me, her lips stretched into a huge smile. "It doesn't matter now because you are here. Now, before I steal a bite of the apple from you, you better finish it!" She teased.

I laughed and moved the fruit away from her. She stood up and stole it out of my hands and took a bite before throwing back to me. Grinning like an idiot , I stared at her in disbelief as he innocently batted her eyelashes and pretended that nothing happened. So, I took the chance and gave her a quick kiss on her lips.
