Grace was once again left in charge of taking care of the twins, Sora and Jongsuk, and Stacy's little 8 month old boy, Jay.
Grace was always left in charge because she was always the last one to say "not it" when Stacy asked who would watch the kids while the parents go relax and go out. But it wasn't a big deal to watch them because she never truly watched them by herself. Jungkook always volunteers to help his bestie with this little task.
So it's been a few months since everything went back to normal. Sort of. The only thing that really changed after the girl's return is that both Y/N and Yoongi and Jin and Stacy announced their engagements. Oh did I also mention the fact that they had to play Rock Paper Scissors to figure out who would get married first? No? Well I said it now.
It's not like Jungkook really minds seeing Grace taking care of kids. He actually loves it, for personal reasons. Plus he works all week and doesn't really get to spend as much time as he'd like with her so this is all he's getting.
Grace gladly takes the help, but she can't help but distance herself after knowing Jungkook's feelings toward her. She wasn't ready to deal with the situation. She had the biggest fear of being alone, apart from the fear of flying and riding a boat; and she was afraid of losing Jungkook as a best friend if the relationship went bad. She's afraid of being responsible of making things awkward between them. She's not taking that chance.
To be completely honest she doesn't even know if she feels the same way. I mean, Grace obviously cares about the boy, she loves him, but she doesn't know if that means that she loves him in a romantic way. What she needs right now is help calming down Jongsuk, Sora and Jay
"Jungkook. You check the bathrooms while I watch these two." Grace commanded the Golden Maknae while she changed Jay's diaper and had somehow calmed down Sora by playing the Frozen soundtrack on the stereo that had surround sound, by the way. Jungkook nodded and went to go follow Grace's orders
A few minutes later, Jungkook came back with Jongsok who was avoiding eye contact with Grace, meaning he did something he shouldn't have.
Grace put Jay on the carpet next to Sora and walked up to the two boys but only look down at the one-year-old boy who most certainly had caused trouble. Since he was only one, the most he could do was walk on his own and saw things like "mama" and "papa", so Grace took the little boy in her arms and asked Jungkook what had happened
"He was writing on the bathroom walls"
Immediately, Grace's eyes widened and she began to panic.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked
"Y/N is going to kill me if she finds writing on her walls!"
"Doesn't she punch holes in these some walls when Yoongi and her have a fight?"
"Yes, but she only does that to the ones in the third guest room, where nobody goes into and she always patches them up before anyone sees them."
"So why don't we just paint over the writing?" he boy proudly suggested
"We don't have the right paint in the garage and I spent all my cash on HotPockets. Not to mention that paint is a very specific color. It's some weird mixture of different types of whites. The smallest color change is noticeable. Stupid rich people and their custom made shit."
Right as she finished talking, they heard the garage door open. Meaning somebody came home and it was Y/N, someone would die or be severely injured.
Grace looked at the little boy and said "You better make damn sure that my funeral is nice"
The footsteps got closer and closer, and Grace's breathing sped up the closer they got. Do whatever you want to me, but don't touch my HotPockets.
