Clearing Things Up

Devin was blushing over the fact that Jackie, a girl who's never seen him, kissed him on the cheek and without question invited him inside her house. His only theories were that she was either crazy or her father had shown her a picture of him. He decided to go with his second theory. Especially because it makes him believe that she's fallen for him too.

Jackie put the flowers in a vase and went back to Jimin, who was actually Devin, in the living room. He was sitting on the couch and still hasn't said a word, which is weird because Jimin is usually very talkative. Jackie sat down beside him and took his held his hand while she spoke.

"Are you okay?" she asked and the boy was looking at her.

"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because you're acting weird. You blushed when I kissed you, you're not talking a lot and now I can hear that your voice is a bit deeper than usual. Plus I didn't even think you had time to come today. Are you sick or something?"

"No I'm not sick. But can I ask you something?"

"What?"

"Why are we talking in Korean?"

This confused Jackie a lot. She placed the back of her hand on the boy's forehead to see if he had a fever or something. But, nothing, so she answered the question but using a tone that indicated that the answer was obvious.

"Because you can only speak Korean."

Devin was confused now. He thought maybe her dad told her that, which would explain why they greeted him in Korean the other day, but it was still weird.

"I'm bilingual. I speak Korean and English fluently"

Okay. Jackie has come to the conclusion that the boy in front of her was sick. Jimin 100% does not speak English fluently.

"That's a funny joke." she laughed out but her smile disappears, and is in awe, when Devin, who she thinks is Jimin, starts speaking English perfectly. His accent is spot on too.

"Since when did you speak English?!"

"Since forever"

"How come you never told me?"

This is Devin's first time meeting the girl and she's talking like they've known each other for a while. "Because we just met. So I never really had the chance to"

Jackie put her hand on his forehead again and asked him if he was sure he wasn't sick. He said he was 100% certain. Jackie took out her phone and went to her camera roll.

"If we just met then how do explain all these pictures that were taken months ago."

She handed him the phone and he began scrolling through it. He started blushing again when he saw a picture of them kissing. It was him, but it wasn't! His brain felt like it was about to explode.

"When did this happen?! I don't remember this! This is my first time meeting you! I would have remembered meeting you"

Jackie stopped him from rambling my covering his mouth with her hand.

"Jimin, did you get hit by one of your members or something?" She asked the boy in front of her and he was even more surprised now. She took her hand away to let him speak.

"Why are you calling me Jimin? My name's Devin."

Before Jackie could say anything, she got a call, from Jimin. Of course she answered it and she put it on speaker.

"Jagi! I'm on a break right now and Yoongi and I are coming to your house. Well, we're already walking up to your door so can you open it?"

"Sure."

She hung up and ran to the door, and Devin followed to try and make sense of what was happening.

Jackie opened the door and saw her boyfriend Jimin walking running towards her, but came to a complete stop when he saw himself, standing behind her. Yoongi didn't notice anything because his mind was on seeing Y/N, like always. But then he bumped into Jimin and that made him realize that there were two Jimins.

After recovering from their initial shock, they all went inside and sat in the living room. And by all, I mean everyone in the house. Mark, Grace, Rebecca, Stacy, Y/N, Jackie and the boys.

Many questions were asked and they finally figured out what had happened. They now know that Devin is not Jimin and vise versa.

"So why are you here?" Mark asked

"I came to meet Jackie. I thought it be good if I met her before I married her."

"WHAT?!" everyone else asked in unison. Jimin quickly went over to Jackie and pulled her into his embrace.

"If anyone's marrying Jackie, it's me!" Jimin said to his doppelganger

"Sorry dude but her dads said that I'm marrying her. So unless her family wants war with my family, she's mine in a few weeks. Enjoy your fun for now, she'll be mine in a bit."

Yoongi got up and punched Devin, causing him to fall to the ground. Next thing you know Mark is pulling Y/N off of Devin so she wouldn't cause anymore damage to the rude boy's face.

Stacy told the boy to leave before anymore trouble was caused. And with that, he left, but not before blowing Jackie a kiss. And like the paranoid girl she is, Jackie dodged the imaginary kiss and threw a pillow at the boy as he walked away. Luckily she basically has ninja skills and it didn't miss.

"He's joking right?" Jimin asked his girlfriend

Her silence scared him. Y/N was quiet too, so that wasn't a good sign. Yoongi and Jimin were scared now. They didn't want to lose the girls they loved. It would be their worst nightmare.
