The begining: At the beach

   It was around 4:30 by the time they got to the beach. Alyx took the lead and walked in front of Jenn to look for a spot to set their things down. "Right here?" Alyx turned around to look at Jenn. She placed her hands on her hips. "Uh sure this is great." Jenn spoke trying to stare to much a Alyx. The older girl pulled out her blanket and laid it on the sand. The blanket was small and Jenn hadn't brought one for herself so they sat smushed together on the sand. The 2 girls just sat for a while. Alyx laid on Jenn's shoulder while Jenn tried to distract herself and took photos of the sunset and the ocean. The sunset was beautiful that day. On orange pink color. Some clouds were still in the sky and it just painted a scene. "This is nice." Alyx said to Jenn. It was almost a whisper. Jenn smiled and nothing more then to just look at her but she knew if did, she wouldn't stop. The blonde stood up and Alyx seemed confused at first. "What's up." Alyx asked with her eyebrows positioned one up and one down. "You wanted me to bring the camera remember. I'm gonna take some photos of you." Jenn spoke softly. I just want to stare at you honestly. "Oh Yeah huh. Okay wait." Alyx spoke rummaging through the back she packed. She pulled out the sandwiches that Jenn had made and the drinks they packed. "Eat first." Alyx patted the ground so Jenn would sit next to her. Jenn took a seat and almost right after she did Alyx leaned on her. Her head rested on her shoulder eating her sandwich. While Jenn glimpsed down on her. You're the most adorable person ever. "i wanna hold your hand." Jenn had whispered very slightly. So quietly that only she heard it. "What?" Alyx looked up and stared at Jenn. "I SAID LOOK AT ALL THE SAND." Jenn had wide eyes, she was in shock and petrified. Fuck me I didn't just say that out loud. Jennifer what the fuck, she knows, she knows, shit she fucking knows. "Yeah well we are at the beach Jenn." Alyx said looking right in Jenn's wide eyes. Jenn just shook her head and took a bite of her sandwich. Stupid bitch. "Hey." Alyx said looking up to Jenn. They were both still eating but Alyx had placed her sandwich back in her bag. "Hi?" Jenn said with a questioning tone. "Are you okay. You seem distracted buy something what's up?" Jenn was distracted, knowing she had just admitted she wanted to hold her friends hand. "I'm just a little stressed that's all. I have a lot of work to do and yeah it's all fun but it's just a bit to much." All though that wasn't the actually reason for her being distracted it still was true. She had so much work and she was stressing way to much over it. "Oh. Well if you want we can leave." Alyx suggested.

Fuck I'm dumb I'm just stressing her even more ugh I'm literally the worst person ever. Alyx stared at Jenn while Jenn sat there eating still. Alyx really did care about Jenn, she always worried about her and she always wanted to make her happy. "No don't worry about it. I needed this. This is the best thing I've done all week believe it or not." Jenn spoke looking out into the distance. Alyx turned and saw her. The older girl knew could tell the younger girl was stressed. Her face showed it. She hadn't smiled all that much today unless Alyx had made her laugh uncontrollably. Should I hug her? Alyx wanted nothing more then to hear that beautiful laugh of Jenn's. I'm going to hug her.  Alyx wrapped an arm around Jenn, and then moments later Jenn laid her head on the girls shoulder. They stayed like that for a while. It wasn't until Alyx had grabbed Jenn's camera and took a photo of the sunset. The picture was beautiful and it reminded Alyx of her friend. So beautiful and intriguing, yet it always went away at one point. I want this to be more. Of course I do. But I can't. She's my best friend. I can't risk losing her in my life. Alyx set the camera down and stood up. They had both finished there sandwiches at this point. The brunette stretched and then took of her sweater and revealed her swim suit. She turned around and looked at Jenn who was smiling and looking up at her. "Jennifer are you checking me out." Jenn laughed and had a worried look for a bit then spoke. "You wish, I just like your swim suit. It's really cute." I do wish. I wish a lot. Alyx reached her hand out to Jenn and smiled. "Come one you stressed soul. Let's go play in the water." Jenn gave smirk and grabbed her hand. Shit man. Alyx smiled because it just felt so good to be in contact with the blonde. She didn't want to let go but she eventually had to of course. They played in the water for a while and splashed each other. "Alyx not my face please my makeup is too good." Jenn yelled to Alyx. However Alyx didn't listen to her and immediately splashed her on her late face. "ALYX!" Jenn was in shock. She chased Alyx in the ocean, grabbed her and brought he down into the water. The moment was pure and it was just Jenn and Alyx laughing to hard. They kept splashing water onto the other and they kept shoving each other into the water. Laughter filled the air, as the sun set disappeared, the two girls just enjoyed each other's company. It came to a point where the both stopped in their tracks and just stared at each other. There was a flirtatious mood in the air, they could feel it. Alyx held Jenn's hand a walked out the water. She was the first to notice the closeness of the one another. I gotta pull away, but it feels great. I feel happier then ever just being this close to her. "Jesus it's freezing" Jenn had said to Alyx. She pulled her hand away from Alyx to rub her skin to get warmer. No don't. "I have towels for us," Alyx reached into her bag and pulled out 2 towels on blue and the other orange, "here." Alyx took the orange one and Jenn took the blue. They dried up and packed up to head home. The drive back to Alyx's was silent. Music played but the girls didn't speak a word to each other. Jenn you cute lil bean talk to me....the beach had to mean something, it had to, otherwise you would be talking to me. "You can wear my sweatshirt." Alyx sang. Jenn gave no reaction but a smile and a slight head shake. What happened I'm so confused JENNIFER TALK TO ME PLEASE.

Stop singing your making me question everything. I'm so confused, more then I ever have been and I can't even explain it. Jenn turned her head slightly at Alyx and noticedThe that she was just staring out the window biting her nail. WHY IS THAT SO CUTE. I CAN NOT RIGHT NOW, GREAT. Alyx Weiss you adorable human being. You will be the death of me.

Just get me home so I can cry alone and be in peace. I've never felt this awkward before, and it's a romantic awkward I hate this why can't I just grow a pair and kiss you. "And you are home." Jenn had finally spoke. "Nice thanks for the ride." Alyx spoke with a shaky voice. She wanted nothing more then to escape the awkward situation or to just kiss Jenn and know that the moments at the beach were genuine love. "Wait." Jenn spoke to Alyx. Shit. "Yeah?" Alyx said now forcing herself to face Jenn. "Do you mind if I possibly spend a night? I don't feel like being alone tonight." Alyx answered quickly. "Yes. Stay please I'm so bored here." Jenn smiled and so did Alyx. They were there for a while just smiling at each other. "What you weirdo?"  Jenn said. "Nothing you loser." Alyx said with a smile walking out the car.
