Character intro

Hi, I'm Sunshine Davis, or Sunny, I'm 19. I'm 5'6, half Irish and half Australian. I have blue eyes and blonde and lilac curly, mid back length hair. I'm thin, but not so thin that I look ill.

I'm a drummer, but I can also play guitar and sing a bit. I live in the 5 Seconds of Summer house with the boys, I'm Ashton Irwin's girlfriend and we've been together for nearly two years. I've known Ashton since we were 4 or something, I got held back in school into Michaels year but I dropped out once Ashton finished. I've known the rest of the guys since I was 15, but my parents live next door to Calum's parents. Small world huh?

I've been in the UK fort he past month and a half to visit my cousin Niall, yes Niall Horan from 1D. The boys didn't come with me as they're writing some new songs, so as you can imagine I can't wait to get home to see them. I've missed them like crazy, especially Ashton and Luke.

Luke and I are like brother and sister, he's always helped me through tough times at home. My parents and I didn't get on, my dad was a drunk and an abusive one at that. My mum? She was never around enough to talk to and when she was there she ignored me, they both favoured my older brother to me.

My big brother, Jason, is actually a really nice guy and we get on fine but he's golden to my parents and I'm the let down because I dropped out of school and am more into music than anything academic. So as you can imagine when I started dating a drummer and hanging around with musicians it didn't go down very well.

Anyway, back to my parents. My dad used to beat me up and stuff when he came home drunk, which was 99.9% of the time. I only ever told Luke about it because he walked into the house just as my dad hit me, the other guys never found out because I hid the bruises or came up with some other reason to how I got them. They believed the stories because I'm incredibly clumsy anyway.
