Chapter 3

I made my way outside and sat on one of the sun loungers, I crossed my legs and decided to see what was going on on twitter. As I scrolled through my feed I heard multiple muffled shouts coming from the kitchen, meaning that they were either arguing about what to make or Mike was eating whatever they were making. I simply shook my head and continued to look through my feed, I noticed a tweet from Zayn.

@zaynmalik; missing my best friend Gollum, but I'll see you in a few weeks! ;)

@SunnyDee123; @zaynmalik aren't you a charmer, but yes you certainly will Aladdin :)


With that my twitter mentions blew up and I'm pretty sure Zayns did aswell. I continued scrolling through my feed and saw multiple tweets to Zayn about who Gollum was, his replies made me laugh because it was the same answer every time;

'My imaginary best friend'.

He's such a dork.


I sent out a few tweets saying;

@SunnyDee123; back in the wonderful land of Oz! Gonna miss the 1D boys but I'm glad to be home, missed my boys #clingy

I heard a chorused shout of 'HEY!!' Coming from inside the house, so I'm assuming that they saw my tweet. I simply locked my phone and watched as they walked out the back door, I moved back on the lounger and lay my legs out in front of me. I noticed the random assortment of food they had with them, three bags of Doritos, salsa, ice cream, toast (I don't even know) and what I'm assuming is Cals mums homemade pasta bake (which would've been one of the meals she brought round to make sure that they don't starve).

I raised an eyebrow at them all and shook my head, Ash spread my legs and sat in between them, leaning against me slightly. I leant my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arms around his waist, a backwards boyfriend hug. I felt him chuckle and intertwine one of his hands with mine, I kissed his neck and just below his ear before whispering;

"Very attractive bruise babe" I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, he pulled his phone out and clicked on the camera icon. He quickly examined his neck before glaring at me through the camera, I pouted and he took a photo.

"I'll get you back for that" he stated as he uploaded the photo to Instagram and twitter, obviously tagging me in it. I looked over his shoulder and saw that it was captioned; 'my favourite girl is finally home, can get back to falling asleep and waking up happy <3'.

I smiled at him before pulling my phone out and opening up Instagram, I put the phone in front of him and kissed his cheek as I took a photo. I quickly uploaded it and put the caption as; 'back with my favourite human at last, I guess you could say I missed him <3'.

We all sat and ate our random assortment of food but as usual, I ended up being force fed toast (Luke pinned me to the floor and literally forced me to eat it, I don't even know why he's my best friend). I think Mike videoed it and put it on keek as well, dick.

After I was finally allowed to get off of the floor and stop eating toast I went and had a shower, I was covered in crumbs and I was in desperate need of one after a 24 hour flight. I walked back to mine and Ash's in a towel and rubbed my hair with another towel, I closed the door behind me and found a denim skater skirt, my Pink Floyd t-shirt and my black converse laid out on the bed, I smiled because this meant that Luke had decided we were gonna go out.

He had always laid my clothes out for me if he was taking me out, he'd never tell me where we were going though. He'd just lay out the perfect outfit for whatever we were doing.

I quickly dried myself off and got dressed, I blow dried my hair and let it fall in its natural curls. I quickly did my makeup which consisted of foundation, mascara, lip gloss and eyeliner flicks. I slid on my converse, well hopped around the room whilst trying to put them on, as I put my phone, wallet, hair brush, hair ties and keys into my small black satchel.

I quickly checked myself in the mirror before running down the stairs where I was met by Luke smiling broadly at me, I smiled back and jumped the last two steps.

"Guys, you ready?" Luke shouted as he was playing with his keys.
"Yeah coming" Mike shouted in reply.
"Cal stop pus- Shit!" I heard Ashton shout, along with a thud and some laughter mixed with whining.

I walked down the hall to the lounge room and saw Ash and Calum in a pile on the floor with Mike doubled over laughing, I simply shook my head and helped Cal up first (as he was lying on top of Ash in some weird position) and then pulled Ashton to his feet.

"My knee hurts" Calum whined as he walked out towards Luke, dragging Mike along with him.
"What hurts?" I asked Ash, as he was rubbing the back of his head and flexing his fingers.
"My hand and head" he replied with a pout.

I lifted his hand up and kissed each of his knuckles before leaning up onto my tiptoes and kissing his forehead, I smiled sweetly at him and pushed his fringe back out of his eyes. He smiled back before taking my hand in his non-injured hand and leading me down the hall to the others, once Luke was finally satisfied that everyone was ready (he made Mike change his shoes twice, Calum change his top and Ashton change his jeans) we piled into his car as he had just got his P plates license and no one other than him knew where we were going.

I was sat in the back in between Cal and Ash, Mike had called shotgun (we're so mature right?) and insisted on us listening to a mix cd he'd made. The intro to the first song started playing and I tensed up, he turned around and smirked at me.

"Mike, this isn't what I think it is is it?" I asked, hoping that someone else would realise that it was a cover not the original.
"I don't know what you are talking about" he replied as he turned around.

I leant my head on Calum's shoulder and waited for them realise that it was my acoustic cover of Time bomb - All Time Low, but none of them did and the song came to an end. I let out a sigh of relief and sat up, I noticed that Ash was playing on his phone so I put my hand on his knee and watched as a small smile appeared on his face.

About six songs and some very bad singing and dancing later, we came to a stop near a small fair and a few restaurants. I leant forwards in the car and kissed Luke's cheek before whispering 'thank you' in his ear. I love fairs and carnivals, Luke and I always go whenever there was one close to where we live and have some 'best friend bonding time' as he called it or 'Squirtle-Penguin time' as I referred to it.

I literally pushed Calum out of the car because he was taking far to long and bounded towards the entrance, I stood there bouncing up and down as the others came up to me. The boys paid for us to get in, not letting me pay for myself as apparently "this afternoon is for us to treat you Sunny, you're not paying for anything". That obviously didn't go down very well with me but I suppose I'll get over it.

I knew this afternoon was gonna be good.
