Today was yours and Levi's one year anniversary. The man you loved. Although today didn't feel special. You both had been fighting all day. He seemed to have forgotten your anniversary. It broke your heart. It was early in the morning now and he had been in a bad mood since he woke up. "I honestly don't see what's so hard about simply apologizing for what you did!!" You yelled.

"There's nothing I should apologize for (y/n)!" He yelled back.

You glared at him. "Armin did nothing to you! You yelled at him last night for no reason at all. The poor boy was helping me. Like I asked him to!"

It's was true. Yesterday you had asked Armin to help you with reaching a high shelf. He helped by putting you on his shoulders so you could reach it easier. You both had no idea how you would get down and Armin fell over. You both were a giggling mess, but Levi began yelling at poor Armin, saying how he could have hurt you.

"I don't need to apologize to him when he could have hurt you!"

"You know what?! You are such a jerk!! You can't even apologize to your girlfriends best friend!"

"I. Dont. Need. To! You're such a bitch!"

You stepped back shocked. He of course had called you many things, but never had he gone this far. You shook your head and stared at him with a blank expression. "You know what, FINE! If that's how you feel about me. I guess you can get a new girlfriend. I'm done. Happy anniversary Levi..."

And with that you left the room.

Levi's pov*

Shiiiiit. I forgot our anniversary. And she left. What am I going to do now? Wait. Did she say new girlfriend? Did she break up with me? I think I screwed up...

I walked out of the room and went to the mess hall for breakfast. (Y/n) was there, but she was sat at a table with Armin and the others. I grabbed my tea and sat with Hanji and Erwin. Eyebrows gave me suspicious glare but continued eating. Hanji however, was not going to let this slide. "Shooorrtyyyy??"

"What is it shitty glasses?"

"...what did you do?"

"What do you mean?"

Erwin decided to jump in now. "I think you know. Where's (y/n)?"

I let out a huff of breath and looked at (y/n). She was in tears. Sasha holding her bacon out to her. She giggled and took it, but snapped it in half and gave Sasha half. "I screwed up..."

Erwin and Hanji raised an eyebrow. "Like I said... what did ya do?"

I sat and stared at my tea. "I refused to apologize to Armin after I yelled at him.."

"Wow.. idiot. You know it's your one year anniversary? She's been talking about it for over two weeks." Erwin said.

"I found out this morning." I mumbled.

"She looks like a mess."

I raised my gaze back to her. Armin was now hugging her and rubbing her back. Sasha had just got up and was trying to comfort her. She eventually pulled away from them and stabbed at her food. She didn't look sad anymore, she just looked... expressionless. After breakfast was over she left to her own room, without eating. I needed to make it up to her. After a few minutes I found Armin. "Cadet!"

Armin flinched but saluted. "Sir?"

"I want to apologize."

He dropped his hands slowly. "What?"

"For yesterday! I'm.. sorry. For yelling at you for no reason."

"Thanks you sir." He whispered.
