It was a Monday and I told Matt when there's no school for a week, I'll go back to California to visit him. Until then I told him to stay strong. "Don't give up on me because I won't ever leave your side." I told him.
He then said how much he needed me to be by his side at the moment. I felt bad that I was over here and he was over there alone. I was his only friend. His best friends since middle school. I wish he could move to Colorado and live with me but that wasn't going to be possible.
"I miss you dude." Matt had said but in such a pained voice. I replied by telling him, "I miss you too buddy." I know Matt well enough that I knew exactly what to say in order to cheer him up.
"I'll talk to you later my parents want a word with me." Said Matt. I couldn't imagine what he was going through if he really was about to do it. I know for sure his parents are going to get him help. Anyways time went by pretty fast and I was so excited because I'm going to have the opportunity to spend some time with my best friend.
Finally we have a break from school. One week off which is enough time to see Matty. It was Friday and I started packing up. I left my house to the airport Saturday morning. Mom gave me a ride since she wanted to take me. As I was in the plane approximately two hours I had some time to enjoy and look at the sky.
On my way there I was listening to music. I took out some gum to help the pain from my ears popping as we flew into the sky going through the different altitudes. I have to admit for my first time being on a plane I wasn't to dramatically scared or freaked out but that's only because I love heights.
I did get bored which is why I brought my laptop. I took it out and started playing games on there. They did charge me for connecting to the Internet but at least I was being entertained. Soon I arrived and had took a bus from the airport to get close to Matt's house.
I knocked on his door hoping Matt was home. His dad answered and looked surprised that I was standing at his front door. He was also proud to see me since I knew how to make Matt smile. His dad once told me how he barely remembers his laugh at times. The only time he hears it is whenever I was around.
He and I went out to go eat some hamburgers and fries. On our way back I saw the guys who bullied Matt. I could tell by the way Matt tried avoiding them. They were hanging out by the basketball court. These guys are just low life assholes who beat others for no reason.
They picked on the wrong person to mess with. I told Matt to wait here. I started walking toward them. They then stood there like idiots and stared at me. "Who are you" one boy asked with a slight smirk on his face.
"Don't worry about it." I said trying not to burst out into rage and lose control of myself. The same guy who had hit Matt then pushed lightly though the middle between the other boys who tried looking tough. "They asked you a fucking question."
"You seriously need to stop being an ass." I said while my fist were turning pale from how hard I was gripping them. At this point the main guy swings at me and I dodge it while getting back up quickly to punch him in the jaw. The guys gathered up yelling at his name. "Kick his ass Martin."
"Come on man show him how it's done." another one said. I was actually having fun since Martin is a coward who picks on people that don't know how to fight. Meaning he probably doesn't know how to actually fight. Now that he was against a well trained boxer, he had an intense worried look. Seems like he was scared to lose and disappoint his friends.
He kept throwing punches towards me and most of them he missed. I got ready to pick him up and slam him on the group. I started getting furious and remembering how Matt almost ended his life to this piece of shit. Since he was still on the ground I was hitting him to the point where I fucked up his ugly ass face.
Two of his boys grabbed me but I hit one of them by elbowing his stomach and the other by twisting his arm around to his back and throwing him to the ground. Martin was still on the floor and I went towards him. I looked at him for a couple seconds then I picked him up by grabbing his shirt.
"If you hurt anyone innocent especially if you ever think to hurt Matt, I'll make sure the next time I see you.... you won't be breathing. Including your friends and you know I can take them out myself." I released Martin's shirt and left his friends alone once I turned back around towards Matt. Which he wasn't looking at me the whole time since he can't stand seeing violence even if they're bad people. "I'm sorry you had to see me like that."
"You didn't have to do that."
"For you I did." I said while looking straight at him. We went back to his house and played video games together then once we got bored we moved on to watching videos on YouTube. We had spend doing a lot of things throughout the week.
Coming back home I felt tired and excited to be back in my room since I had a comfortable bed. My mom was there and she asked me how it went. I told her what we did except the fighting part. I went into the kitchen to grab a snack and then went towards my room. I laid on my bed but soon I heard a howl at my door in the back yard.
I went to go see what it was and saw a puppy. I yelled in excitement with my deep ass voice, and that's when my mom came in telling me how it's all mine. I always wanted a puppy and I said no matter what if I get one I'll name it Zuko.
