Sam
Throughout the whole day, the only thing on Sam's mind was Gabriel, and last night. He had so much fun, more fun than he'd ever had in his whole life.
And he couldn't wait to see Gabe again.
Gabriel had invited him over after school to study, because he's apparently bad at everything school related.
Sam didn't think Gabriel was bad at anything, but he had agreed to help anyways. Because for Sam, every second spent with Gabriel made him happier.
Finally, the final school bell rang, and Sam darted to his locker. When he opened it, a small, folded piece of paper fell on the ground. Sam reached down and picked it up as he unfolded it.
Heya sexy, it's your soulmate. ;) I'm gonna leave you hints around the school to see if you can guess who it is.
First clue is: My favorite color is sunset orange
-Your soulmate xx
Sam looked up and down the halls before pocketing the note and shutting his locker.
"Heya Samwich!" Gabriel greeted.
"H-Hello Gabe," Sam smiled shyly.
"Ready to go?" Gabe asked. Sam nodded. They walked out of the school and over to a black van. Gabriel and Sam climbed in the back, past a kid with blonde hair who Gabriel called Alfie.
"Hello again, Sam," Lucifer greeted.
Sam panicked and tugged at Gabriel's sleeve.
"Sam, it's okay, shh," Gabriel soothed, "He says hi."
"Oh, uh... okay."
"Anyways, how was your day, Gabriel?" Micheal asked.
"Good, I guess," Gabe sighed.
"I know I know, I'm late," a boy with a strong British accent muttered as he got in the car. Then, Micheal began to drive, and Sam began to get extremely nervous around all of these people.
"What's wrong, Sam?" Gabriel asked as he noticed Sam's fidgeting.
"T-Too many p-people," Sam whispered.
"It's okay. We'll be home soon. Don't worry," Gabriel soothed. Sam relaxed a bit and rested his head on Gabe's shoulder. Soon, they were at the Novak household, and Sam felt like he could breathe again.
Knowing Sam wasn't much of a people person, Gabriel brought him straight to his room. Sam laid out his textbooks and all of his homework.
"S-So, um... I think we should start with E-English first, since it's the easiest..." Sam told him.
"You know Mrs. Harvelle, right?" Gabe asked.
"F-Family friend," Sam replied. Gabe nodded, and they began the homework.
--
"UGH! THIS IS TO FUCKING HARD!" Gabe yelled.
"N-No it's not, you just h-have to-" Gabriel cut Sam off.
"Can we do something else? I'm bored," Gabriel complained.
"B-But-" Sam sighed at the pouty face Gabriel was making, "Fine, l-like what?"
Gabriel moved closer to Sam, and before he knew what was happening, Gabriel's lips were on his.
And Sam kissed back.
After he realized what he was doing, he pushed Gabriel off.
"G-Gabriel! I- My- my soulmate! Did I just cheat on them?" Sam asked.
Gabriel looked confused, but then gasped. "Oh, right! I'm so sorry Sam, I wasn't thinking..." He sighed.
"I-it's okay," Sam stuttered, "I should g-go anyways."
"I think you should, too," Gabriel murmured. Seeing the utter shock and hurt on Sam's face, Gabe began to explain. "My brother, Cas, he had a panic attack in school. He's gonna wake up soon, and I need to be there for him. I'm sorry, Sam. Bye..."
Sam opened his mouth to speak, but couldn't find the words. Instead, he ran down the stairs and past the living room, out the door and onto the side walk. He decided to call his dad instead of Dean, because he knew he was getting ready for a date or something.
The line rang, and John picked up. "Sam? Is everything okay?"
"Can you pick me up from my friends house?" He asked.
"Didn't Dean tell you? I'm out of town on a job," John said. Sam grit his teeth.
"No, he didn't."
"Oh, well, as long as you're okay, everything's good. I have to go now, Sammy. I'll talk to you soon."
"Bye dad," Sam hung up, and he ran the whole way home.
--
When Sam got to the house, he ran upstairs to the bathroom where Dean was.
"Why didn't you tell me that dad was gone?" Sam asked angrily.
"Oh, uh... you know about that? I didn't want to hurt you, Sammy," Dean explained.
"That's a pisspoor excuse. I'm 14, Dean, not 5," Sam retorted.
"Sam, I don't have time for this. Get out," Dean snapped. He slammed the door in Sam's face and locked it.
"I hate you, Dean!" Sam yelled, kicking the door. He ran to his room and curled up on his bed.
The tears wouldn't stop flowing.
He had cheated on his soulmate, found out his dad was gone, and got in a big fight with Dean, all in one day.
As Sam choked out sobs, he dubbed this day to be the worst of his life.
