I'm currently in the airport, waiting on Berlin. She went back to London for Louis' funeral. She also decided while she was there she would get her things and prepare to move.
I had asked, of course, if she wanted me to go with her. However, she declined, insisting that I stay here as I was still mourning Luke's death and wasn't entirely fit to travel. Deep down, though, I think it would have been better for me to go with her. I didn't sleep for almost two days straight, and cried various times as well.
But now, nearly a weak later, I was standing firm with bags and dark circles under my eyes and messy hair. My head perked up when I heard her plane was landing. I was so ready to see her again. It's strange how someone I had known for so little time made such a large impact on my life. She is helping me heal, and now I need to help her. I watched for her to walk towards baggage claim. When I finally saw her, I fought the urge to run and walked like a normal person.
She turned away from the rotating belt and looked at me. She looked exhausted but gave me a huge grin. I chuckled at her enthused expression and she ran to me, tugging her simple black suitcases behind her.
She jumped into my arms and I giggled while I held her. Berlin pulled back and I crashed my lips to hers.
Fuck. Our first kiss was an in-the-moment thing.
She didn't seem to mind, as she just twisted her fingers into my hair and deepened the kiss. We pulled apart and caught our breath.
"Well damn." She breathed out. I nodded.
"Okay so this is all?" I asked while grabbing her suitcases. She giggled and nodded.
"Everything else is getting shipped in. Not much, two or three small boxes." Berlin replied.

We walked up to my apartment and I slowly opened the door. I didn't want her to see the mess but it was inevitable. To my surprise, it was completely spotless. On the counter, there was a piece of paper about the size of a business card. I quickly grabbed it while Berlin tugged her suitcases to my- our room.
"When Cal came by earlier this week, the place was trashed. We knew you didn't get off your ass and clean it so we did it while you were gone. Good luck with the missus.
-Ash and Cal
I was extremely greatful for them. It was a hot mess, and I was too lazy to clean. Thankfully I've got some really great friends.
I walked into my room to see Berlin with her face buried in the pillows.
"Michaaeel I'm so tired but I'm hungry and I also want to talk." I laughed at her and curled up beside her. Berlin turned over and looked at me. She smiled for a minute before leaning down and kissing me. It was soft, and sweet. I smiled as we pulled apart, and she reciprocated.
"Well. How about we get some crisps, make some light conversation, and then sleep. We can talk more when we wake up." I suggested. She nodded in agreement and I reached into the bedside table for a bag of chips.
(an// PRETTY GURL WHATS YA NAME WHATS YA NUMBAH)
Berlin chuckled.
"You just have chips in your bedside?" I laughed and nodded. "Hey I'm not judging. I'd be lying if I said I didnt."
We talked a little between our mouth fulls of Lays Salt and Vinegar. She said she felt closure after the funeral, and she was glad that if there was a heaven Louis and Luke were there together.
We somehow got on the topic of how awful sleeping alone had been. I was glad she felt the same, because I didn't want to seem creepy. We hadn't known each other for over a week and I relied on her for functioning.
"Well in that case," I started, wrapping the crisps and putting them away, "We should make up for lost time." I lay down and pulled her with me. After arranging the duvet over us, I was finally content. She snuggled into my chest and pressed a kiss to my neck, next to my Adams Apple. I kissed her temple as response.
We fell asleep, with our limbs tangled and hearts beating in time.
lmao how long has it been since I've had a decent chapter published? like of a reasonable length and shit? a while. more of a filler but I'm looking to finish this soon.
enjoy, maybe look at the previous story part, it was an AN, information on the book and when I'm planning on ending it/how. I can't really remember but it may be of importance for you.
