If a man were to trip, does he not stumble nor fall?
If I were to walk, would it be a miracle or another day?

Questions that made no sense.
Questions that I try to grasp in my everyday affairs. But I could never quite answer them correctly.
I couldn't feel I was close either.
Gavin snapped me out of my trance.
"Hey! You alive?"
I nodded slightly a bit disoriented.
Louise laughed.
We were in the dining hall. Classic.
High ceilings and beautiful tableware that gleamed in the light of  the chandelier. My chair was pushed in yet I must have been In a daze when I came in because I don't remember.
"Stop thinking and eat. " Gavin said as fumes of delicious ham rose into my nostrils. Chef had done well.
"A man who eats and not thinks is a fool and a gluttonous pig." I say picking up my fork. Louise snickers and Shane laughs and mistress glared at us and we regain our composure.
She was an older women with eyes of steel and a posture as If she were tied to a board. Her grey hair was tied into a tight knot and her slim frame still held much intimidation.
Gavin, her grandson had messy brown hair that stuck out very which way, he slouched and was a goofy teenager with no intimidation at all. He was cool though. Like a brother to the rest of us. Being Fifteen he was constantly trying to prove she tough and ended up getting his arm broken in two different spots by jumping of the pond bridge.
Impressive.
Shane was taller and leaner. He was quieter and just as goofy. His hair usually stayed where it belonged and he smiled all the time. He was adorable.
Louise was small framed but strong, as a soccer player should be. Her hair was braided into Long and gleaming snake that ran down her back. She was goofy and that wasn't the best part, she was smart and pretty.
Me? Short. Still look like I'm twelve and I have twice the IQ of Gavin and about 1/4 of the eldest. Lucas.
Speak of Lucas where was he?
"Where'd Lucas..?" I asked.
"Didn't you hear? He wasn't feeling well. " Louise said. I frown. Lead never skipped dinner.
"Any smart words for him?" Shane asked.
"The hopeful end up disappointed, but the lower the standards, the happier the outcome." Nobody really understood what that had to do with the problem.
Louise wore her soccer jersey and jeans with her black converse and earrings. Little stone that gleaned as bright as the forks.
Gavin wore a hoodie, shorts, chuck Taylor's and he had a watch on, that probably wasn't set to the right time.
Shane wore jeans and a tee-shirt. He had converse and a red hoodie on his lap as if he had taken it off.

"What are you thinking Kate?" Mistress asked.
"That the foolish find their way into the deepest of holes while the clever walk around."
