Work went by pretty quickly, which was surprising, because normally when I'm looking forward to something, they day seems to drag, but it didn't. I went home, took a quick shower and started getting ready. It didn't take long and just as I was putting my shoes on, there was a knock at my door. I checked the time. 7:30, right on time. I was dressed somewhat smart-casual. I didn't know where we were going, so I didn't want to be underdressed or overdressed. I was in jeans and a cami top, then some similar shoes to what I had worn a few nights ago.

I opened the door. Ryan stood there, looking very attractive as ever. I smiled. "Hey, come in. I just need to grab my bag."

"Hi." He smiled. I grabbed my bag and filled it with all the things I needed.

"Where are we off too?" I said as we walked to Ryan's car.

"I was thinking italian." I smiled.

"My favourite." We drove and talked. "So, how was your day?"

"It was good. We did some promo for our new single. It was good. We're filming Alan Carr next Saturday. Wanna come watch?" I smiled. I was a big fan of Alan Carr.

"Sure. Sounds like fun." It was nice of him to invite me.

"How was your day?" He asked.

"Good. I had work, it was the usual really. Nothing exciting ever happens." I shrugged.

We pulled up outside of a small italian place. It was in the middle of nowhere, well, at least I had no idea where we were. It was quaint. It looked like a small family franchise. I think I was going to like it. We walked inside and it was so cute. Very old fashioned. It was kind of like a vine-yard theme. I don't know. But it was lovely. We sat in a booth at the back and a waiter came over with our menus. "Hi, I'm Tony, your waiter for this evening. Here's your menu's. Can I get you any drinks?" Ryan spoke.

"Your best bottle of red, please." Tony nodded and walked away.

"Have you been here before?" I asked.

"No, Joel recommended it." Does that mean he asked them for advice? Because if so, that was so cute. "So, what are you gonna get?"

"I think I'm gonna get the spaghetti. You?"

"Pizza. I think." I laughed.

"We're so adventurous." I said sarcastically. We placed our order when Tony brought a bottle of wine over. Ryan poured me a hearty glass of wine. "Are you trying to get me drunk?" Ryan shook his head. I took a sip. "This is very good wine though." I smiled.

"It is. And I'm not a very big wine person."

"Why did you order it then?" He chuckled and shrugged.

"Joel's recommendation." I smiled. His blind faith in his band mates was endearing.

"Joel has made a very good choice." I reassured him. Our food came quickly. I had a sudden realisation. "I chose the messiest food to eat, so please forgive me, this could get messy." Ryan gave a low chuckle.

"Get stuck in." I put my hair down my back, so it didn't get pasta sauce in it. I tried to eat it as classily as I could. Probably failing.

"This is quite possibly the best spaghetti I have ever had in my life." I said after my first bite. That was not an over-exaggeration. Ryan raised his eyebrow at me. "I'm not even kidding. I could eat this for the rest of my life."

"It's that good?" I nodded.

"Wanna try it?" Maybe a bit of an odd question, but it was out there. He nodded.

"Go on then. Since it's the best spaghetti in the world." He mocked. But once he'd tried it, he would know. I twirled some around my fork and Ryan ate it. His face was shocked. "Oh wow."

"I told you."

"That is so good."

"I told you. And you doubted me." We laughed and ate and just chatted over the meal. It was really nice. I enjoyed his company. Especially when we had littl dinner dates like this once. It was nice to get to know each other and have a laugh. We were so comfortable around each other. I tried not to dwell on the definition of our relationship. I mean sure, we hang out, kissed sometimes and had a nice time together. But I knew we weren't officially boyfriend and girlfriend. We were just kind of hanging out. I don't know. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind and focussed on what Ryan and I were doing in that moment. Having a nice time.

"We'll have the bill please." Ryan told Tony once we finished our meals.

"This was a very good choice. Well done Joel."

"I must congratulate him on his good choice." Tony came back with out bill and I grabbed it quickly before Ryan saw it.

"It's on me today." I smiled. He sighed.

"Are you sure? I asked you out." I shrugged.

"So? You paid for the last one."

"At least let me pay half."

"Nope." I said getting my purse and paying for the 50 odd pound meal. It didn't put me out and I felt bad him having to pay for stuff all the time. When we left, it was nearly 11. We didn't stay out, Ryan drove me straight home, because he had to be up early in the studio tomorrow. I didn't mind. I was fairly tired and was planning to write an essay and do a spot of christmas shopping tomorrow.

Ryan was very gentlemanly and walked me to my door, even after I insisted it wasn't necessary. I clearly caved before he did. We stood at my door and I fumbled with my keys. "I'll text you tomorrow." He smiled.

"Alright. Have fun in the studio. Don't let me distract you."

"You won't. Thanks for coming tonight."

"Thanks for inviting me. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." And he places a soft kiss on my lips and lingered for a few moments. It was intoxicating. I wanted him so badly right then. But was I going to give the impression I was easy? No. I was not. So I left it with a kiss. We both went our seperate ways. Him to his car and me into my flat.

Ryan and I texted most of that Sunday. He was in the studio laying down some bass for Lawson's new album. He spoke so passionately about it. I really respected his passion. It was admirable. I could just imagine the look on his face when he was in his element. It was sweet.

The day overall was successful. I wrote my essay and bought presents for my mum and sister. Now only my grandparents and dad to buy for. So there was not much left for me to worry about. I emailed my teacher my essay and I had my peace of mind. Now I was done with Uni until after Christmas. I was relieved. I had this week and one more until it was Christmas. Plenty of time for me to finish the shopping.

Ryan and I texted all week. I finished my shopping and Saturday came quickly. I travelled to the studios which Alan Carr was filmed at with all of the guys. I believe Andy's girlfriend was there too. So I wasn't alone and I was glad for that. I think it would have been weird if I was there by myself. I'd never been to a tv studio before. It was really cool and I was in awe.

This would be an interesting experience I think.
