I'm just your average eighteen year-old girl. I've just started Uni which I'm really excited about. I work at a diner, no it's not the most glamorous job in the world, no it's definitely not, but I have money coming in and I love the people I work with, they were like a second family to me. Working at a diner had it's perks, as do most jobs. I kept all of my tips, I had banter with the regular customers, oh and I spent the whole day rolling around the establishment on roller-skates. It's like something out of a 60's movie and I love it.

I worked most days, usually after my lessons, but the occasional shift before if I needed extra money. It was Wednesday today, so I started at 1pm and I have to work until 10pm. You'd be surprised how many people actually come in at night. One of my best friends, Scarlett and I were waitressing. "Who's your next table?" I asked. She looked around her section for a moment.

"That one." She pointed at a booth which four lads had occupied. I soon noticed who those four lads were. Lawson. I turned to her with a big smile on my face.

"You have to let me serve them!" She furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. "Oh please, I love thier band and this is just the same as when I let you serve those firemen last week! We'll be even!" I stated, knowing she wouldn't be able to sat no. She signed, rolling her eyes.

"Fine." I smiled and nodded, rolling towards their table. "What can I get you lads?" I smiled polietely. They took a moment to finishing browsing the menu's.

"Er, I'll have a full English and a black coffee please." The front man of Lawson, Andy said with his thick Liverpudlian accent. I nodded and wrote it down on my notepad. I tried to slifle my smile, my best firend Bobbi would not believe me when I'd say I took Lawson's order. We both loved them so much, we'd gone to their gig at Koko in Camden and we basically died then and there. I looked up and Joel spoke next saying he'd have the same, but with a cup of tea.

"I'll have a bacon sarnie and a white coffee please." Ryan said next and Adam agreed with him. Wow, easy to please. I nodded and rolled back to the kitchen to place their orders. I turned to Scarlett and began telling her about them. She just smiled and nodded, like she really cared.

*RYAN'S POV*

The lads and I were in London. We drove to a diner we'd heard about from Adam's girlfriend Melissa, she said she and her friends went there all the time, so we decided to check it out. We pulled up, so far it looked good, but I think I'd let my stomach be the judge of that. We walked into to a very 60's looking diner, with the typical checkerboard floors, red leather booths and waitresses on  roller skates. We browsed the menu's for a little be before the waitress rolled over to us. She had long brown hair which fell just below her ribs and she had dark blue eyes. She smiled as she took our order, I wasn't sure what she was smiling at, or if she was just being polite. Though, she was very pretty and the jeans she was wearing made it seem like her legs went on forever. When she rolled away, I didn't hesitate to look at her bum, she had a very nice one.

"Alright mate, you're staring!" Andy joked snapping me from my daze watching the fit diner girl.

"Huh?" I said.  The lads laughed. "I wasn't staring!" I said defensively. The lads laughed harder. I sighed at them. They managed to compose themselves as they saw the waitress return with our drinks. She placed them infront of each of us. "Thank you." I said smiling at her. She returned the gesture. Then she went back off to where ever. I took a sip of my tea, avoiding the lads gaze. I winced when I realised how plain it was without any sugar.

We talked about our upcoming album for a bit and how excited for the fans to hear it. It wasn't long before the waitress returned with our food. A bacon sarnie would definitely hit the spot right now. "Anything else I can get you?" She smiled.

"Got any ketchup?" Joel said with a mouth full of chips. Charming. She laughed at him when he dribbled bean juice. She gestured to the running orange substance on his chin. He laughed and wiped it with a napkin.

"Yeah, I'll be right back." She shook her head slightly with a smile on her face as she went to get Joel's ketchup. She returned. "Here you go." She put it down on the table. "Anything else?" We all said no and she rolled away.

"Why don't you just ask her out, mate?" Adam said to me. I shook my head and shrugged.

"Come on, like she's gonna say no, you're Ryan Fucking Fletcher from that awesome band Lawson!" Andy said. We all laughed. I could ask her out, but not infront of the lads.

I have a plan.
