This is a mini summary about Jacks and what's happened in her life.
Jacks was born on the planet of Hoth. Her father was a alcoholic and her mother worked all day. She was always stuck with her father who beat her. She ran away at age 9 which made her live on her own. Kanan found her and trained her all he knew and then she left. She rebeled against the Empire on her own and always sore to never fall in love which that didn't turn out to well when she meet Edward.
She made him think she wasn't into him but it killed her inside. One day, when Jacks saved Ash, Eward saved her. He dead.
That's how she is way more different then she was before.
