Alex's POV:

I rub my forehead with my index fingers. 100 years. 100 FREAKING YEARS.

Ashlyn my mate left me 100 years ago. I don't regret it though.
But my wolf has been forever mad at me.

"Oh babe." I look to see a a blondie wrap around my waist. What can I say, once a player always a player.

I put my arm around her. "Hi...uhhhh....Linsey?" I say like a question. I think that was her name.....

She gasped loudly.

Ha. My wolf Ray said. You got it wrong. My wolf said with smirk.

"IM NOT LINSEY YOU JERK! IM EMILY!!!" She yelled out poking a finger to my chest. Then she stomped off.

Bye Felisha.

I chuckled at him. Anyway I had better get going. I was planning on getting rid of her anyways. There was a meeting I had to get to.

I go out of the house and shift into my wolf.

I quickly move around the trees with ease. I jump over logs and in no time, arrive at the pack house. My pack house.

-----in the meeting

"I had sent a few spies to the mountains a few months ago." We all nodded our heads at alpha Jake for him to continue.

"They haven't come back. And that's not all. The last thing they reported to us is that they found the white wolf. The Royal."

Gasps were heard in the room. Wow. The Royal was alive.

He was alive?!

"We need someone to check out what's going on there." Alpha Jake said. "Who volunteers to go there?" We looked around the room and to see no one wanting to go. I took a deep breath.

"I'll do it." I said looking into his eyes. He nodded.

"Good. You can head out tomorrow."

-----ASHLYN ROSE'S POV:

"COME ON WOLFS! FASTER!"
I yelled out to my pack. My pack has increased so very much. Over 500 pack members. Most of them were girls. some were rouges,others were rejected. Here everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE!
GOOD JOB! YOU ARE ALL EXCUSED!" I yelled out. I heard gasps of relief and I smiled. I quickly jogged inside the pack house. Outside was really cold.

Our pack house was pretty big. We had all built it ourselves. I jog to the kitchen and sit on the counter. I reach above the cabinet and grab a jar. The cookie jar. Yum.

I grab a cookie and stuff it into my mouth. I smile as the chocolate melts in my mouth. Suddenly the door opens. I quickly put the jar behind me. The cooker comes in. She is like a mom to me.

She looks at me with and eyebrow raised. "You aren't eating cookies, are you?" She says. I raise my hands in mock surrender. "You've caught me chocolate handed." I say. She chuckles.

I get up and go to my room. (Grabbed another cookie of course) I walk in a see Melissa on her phone. She had recently sjust found her mate. I'm so happy for her.

Her mate, Ethan, is a sweetheart to her. Even asked permission from me to date her. Isn't that the cutest thing!

Anyway.

I go to my closet and began to change clothes, but as I did I looked in the mirror. My back. My back had scars running all over it. All because of my stinking mate.
I quickly change and get into bed.

"Good night Mel."

"Night sis."

I wake up to feel something cuddled against me. I open one eye to see my lil sis next to me.

She must of gotten cold in the night. Scarlet said. I agreed with her.

I kissed her cheek and got up. Immediately I felt the cold air prick my skin. Yep. Definitely cold.

"Can someone turn the heater on higher?" I ask into the pack mind link. Almost exactly when I said it, the vent blasted me with warm air. I sighed with content.

"Thanks." I said into the link. I sat on the edge of my bed and just listened to the conversations in the mind link.

"Bye everyone I'm off to work." Amy said. Our work here was very simple. We do it in case their are any humans near by. We all switch turns doing it. It's only 1-3 people a day.

The job is just a person at a coffee shop. There, you can buy a few things too like jackets and blankets. The thing is though, whenever someone goes to work there, you must put on a spray that my doctors found out that can cover your wolf scent, making you smell like a human.

I wake up to my phone blaring. Why stupid phone, whyyyyyyyyy. Wait a minute. OMG IM LATE FOR WORKKKKK. I jump out of bed to see Ash gone. I grab some random clothes and put them on.

I rush out the door after putting my phone in my pocket. I run down the stairs with my wolf speed. I speed out the doors and run to the shop. I stop at the front and bend over panting. Wow that was quick.

I step inside to see Amy and Leo were the other workers today.

Today absolutely nothing happened. It was so bor-BRING. I look up to see 4 men come in. Immediately we all a sniff the air.

Wolfs. My wolf Star says. I nod. A while ago 6 wolfs came by and we killed all but one. He is still in the cellars right now. That's how we learned they were spies.

It's an alpha and three warriors. Star said. I nodded.

"How can I help you?" I asked. He sniffed the air. "Humans." He mumbled. I wouldn't have caught it without my great hearing.
