Alex's POV:
(Before he was let out of he cell)

I'm boredddddddd. I wined to Ray.

Well if you had been nicer to our mate a few years ago, then we wouldn't be in this mess. Ray growled at me. I sighed.

  Rock, paper, scissors? I ask.

I don't have fingers dummy. How am I gonna do scissors or rock?

  Good point.

My head snapped up as I heard the cell door squeak. It was the little girl that had come here with my mate awhile ago. I stared at her. She slowly walked in the cell. She looked like she was having an eternal battle with herself trying to decide something.

She looked straight at me and gave me an emotionless face.

"Hi Alex." She says in a monotone voice. "You probably don't remember me."

She walked up to me and got close to me.

"Uhh what are you doing?" I ask trying to distance our space. She rolled her eyes and grabbed my chained wrist. She pulls out a key from her pocket and unlocks it. She steps back.

The cuffs fall from my wrists and I rub where they were at.

"Your setting me free?" I ask suspicion lacing my words.

She tilted her head side to side in a 'kinda' matter.

"Once I convince Ashlyn to keep you out of the cells, guards will be watching you at all times. If you want your mate back, your going to have to step up your game and earn her trust. She's changed a lot since back then. She's a new person. You destroyed her old Ashlyn and now we are left with the new one." She says.

I cock my head to the side." What do you mean?"

"She- actually never mind. Let's go." She says. She walked to the cell door and wraps the end of her shirt around her hand to open the door without touching it. I gave her a strange look.

"It's coated in silver." She says. I nod my head.

Silver and wolfsbane are poison to werewolfs. you'll be left with a scar to mark your stupidity if you ever touch it. It's very extremely painful.

I scrunched my eyebrows. But Ashlyn had touched it and she hadn't even seemed dazed. Weird...

Anyway, I followed the girl up the stairs. That reminds me...

"What's your name?" I ask. She stops and I end up walking straight into her back.

She slowly turned around to face me with a hard look. I take a few step back from surprise.

"I think it's time you shut up now." She deadpans. I put my hands up in mock surrender.

She then continues walking until a boy comes out of a room. His face lights up at the sight of her.

He speed walks over to her and pulls her into a hug. He was obviously her mate. "Melissa! I've been looking all over for you! And Ashly-" he stops mid-sentence and starts growling. He parts away from the hug and slowly turns around to face me. He has a snarl on his face and he puffs out his chest to make himself look tougher.

"Why is he here?" He snarls and practically spits in my face. I just raise an eyebrow.

HOW DARE HE DISRESPECT ME. I AM AN ALPHA. MAYBE NOT HIS ALPHA, BUT STILL AN ALPHA! Ray continues he's growling and yelling in my head until I block him.

A small hand appears on the guys shoulder and his tense form immediately relaxes a bit. Yep. Their definitely mates.

"I let him free." She says. He immediately turns around to face her. Both their eyes fog over, meaning they were mind-linking.

I get bored at look around the hallway we were in. It had many doors on each side, all closed, but at the end there was one open door in which I could faintly hear some people talking and pots clanging.

"Come on." The guy says pulling my gaze away from the open door. The girl, or what was her name? Malloy, Mill, Mell, Mellissa! That was it. Melissa. I felt like I was having some deja vú.

Wait a minute.

Oh. My. Gosh. It couldn't be. No way. She died. There's no way it could be her.

My little sister.

Melissa used to be my sister but she disappeared the day Ashlyn left. We thought that maybe some rouge had killed her or something! Why was she here?

Maybe Ashlyn took her captive to have revenge on me.

She's not evil. Ray says.

Maybe. Who knows?

I'm pretty sure that she wants to be here. She obviously didn't look like she was being held captive.

Why is she here then?

I don't know.

I didn't notice we had stopped until I had bumped into the boy's back. He stiffened at impact. I took a few steps backwards and he moved to the side revealing a door.

"Your room." He says before walking away.

Rude....

I open the door and step in. The room is pretty plain but a good size. There was a queen size bed against the wall with a large window to its right with long white curtains.

I close the door and go straight to the bathroom. I take a quick shower to get rid of the icky muck from inside the cell.
