[ Chapter 28 ]

8:10 pm

Author's POV:

"Im sorry but who are you?" Jungkook said.

Taehyung released a tear.

"I am y-"

A nurse came, Taehyung quickly wiped his tears.

"Hello there, your name must be Jeon Jungkook. Right?" A nurse said interrupting Taehyung.

Jungkook answered, "I guess so."

"How are you feeling?" The nurse said.

"I-I am good," Jungkook said.

"Ok hold on a minute, I will call your parents they are just outside." The nurse said.

The nurse left and now Taehyung and Jungkook are by themselves.

"Umm... Excuse me," Jungkook said shyly.

Taehyung looked at him.

"Do I know you?" Jungkook said.

"Y-Yes. I am your friend, we became friends about a month ago. By the way, my name is Taehyung." Taehyung said. Jungkook just nodded.

Jungkook noticed he was holding something in his hands, Jungkook lift it up and stared at it. He admired by the necklace that he was holding.

"Is this necklace mine?" Jungkook said. Taehyung nodded.

Jungkook decided to wear the necklace, then suddenly his head hurts. He put his hands on his forehead because of the pain.

Just in time the nurse that came before, came back with Jungkook's parents.

"Jungkook this your parents." The nurse said introducing his mom and dad. Jungkook's mom covered her mouth in shock and started crying. She ran up to Jungkook and hugged him.

"Mom? Dad?" Jungkook said as tears were falling down from his eyes. Jungkook's dad also went up on the other side of Jungkook's bed.

"Yes son, we are your parents. It is great to have you back." Jungkook's dad said.

Jungkook and his parents formed a family group hug. Jungkook was really happy to see his parents but it is really sad that he doesn't know anything.

Then a doctor came in.

"Hello, Jungkook's parents and little kid," He said ruffling Taehyung's hair and looked up at Jungkook.

"Hello, Jungkook, I am Dr. Jung and I was your doctor during these past few weeks." Dr. Jung said, shaking Jungkook's hand.

"Doc, what happen to my son Jungkook?" Jungkook's mom sniffed.

"When your son had a car crash, his brain got badly damaged. This caused him to forget everything. Not even a single bit" Doctor Jung said.

"Doc, can we do anything to bring back his memories?" Jungkook's mom said.

"Yes, we can"He replied. Everyone in the room sighed in relief except Jungkook.

"But!" Everyone got scared by his tone.

"But?" Jungkook's Dad said.

"He has to find his memories on his own. I know it will be hard for him too since he doesn't remember anything but it is the only thing that can regain his memories." The doctor said. They all nodded as they all understood.

"Anyways, I have to go now. I have to go to an another patient." Doctor Jung said.

Just before he is about to leave he forgot to tell Jungkook's parents and the others.

"Oh yes, just before I leave, Jungkook can leave the hospital in 1 week because he just woke up and he needs to regain his strength. That's it for now, I gotta go." He said.

When he left the nurse followed, they looked at Jungkook and noticed that has now fallen asleep. Jungkook's mom smiled at Jungkook even though he is asleep and kiss his forehead.

"I am glad you are okay, sweetie." She whispered.

Jungkook's mom looked at Taehyung and smiled at him.

"Thank you for looking after Jungkook while my husband and I are at work. Also tell Namjoon and Yoongi for that too." Jungkook's mom bowed at him.

"No worries, Mrs Jeon and of course I will tell Namjoon and Yoongi," Taehyung said smiling shyly and bowed at her too.

1 week later....

Jungkook finally got released out of the hospital, by the time they got home he got surprised by a welcome back party. Everyone in the party such as Taehyung, Namjoon, and Yoongi were there. Namjoon and Yoongi introduced themselves to Jungkook. Jungkook was so happy even to have them even though he just met them today.

When Jungkook came back to school, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung guided Jungkook as if he is his first time being in that school. Most people in their class greeted Jungkook as they were happy that Jungkook was back. They were happy because Namjoon and Yoongi told everyone in their class that Jungkook had an accident and felt sorry for him.

Jungkook like his life as it is.

Jungkook and Taehyung became best friends really fast. Well, even Namjoon and Yoongi but not as close as Taehyung.

Let's just stop it from here 😈
