The cool air suffocated his lungs. He tried to breathe in but the air was too thick. He gulped in a huff of air, tears plastered across his face. The sky turned a dark gray, the wind began to crash into the trees. A hum came from his pierced lips as his fingers danced across her tanned skin. A tear came from the corner of his face and landed on her fingers that were folded on her che...st. He cried into his hands, the feeling of grief washing over him. He missed her soft kiss, her ecstatic laugh, her bouncing hair, he missed everything about her. Her body was now empty, no sign of life left in her. "I miss you." He whispered in her ear, his breath trickling across her skin. "I love you." He kissed her cheek for the last time. His lips tasted like salt as he let go of her fingertips that were locked in his. She was now with the angels. She towered over him from miles away, keeping watch of him and keeping him safe from any harm
