i promise

zayns fist landed on the boy's face as he groaned, the dark alley was empty it was just me zayn and the boy. i ran to stop this scene i grabbed zayns shoulders and desperately tried to stop him from killing the boy on the ground. "get off" zayn spat pushing me away "please stop"i cried getting in the middle and placing my hands on his chest "y/n get off'' he yelled and slapped me across ...the face, i knew that the boy in the ground had killed his bestfriend but i didn't want zayn to kill someone. i backed out holding my cheek with my hand as tears rolled down my face, "ZAYN!!" i yelled causing him to turn around, his eyes softened and became a little sad when he saw me crying and holding my cheek, "stop.." i said, he stared at me for a while and got up kicking the boy on the ribs as he groaned in pain. i swiftly got in the middle and wrapped my arms around his torso my head resting against his chest as he was towering over my body. "please stop" i cried, he made a few steps back and gasped raising his hands and staring at them, his knuckles were mixed with his blood and the boy's blood he then stared at the boy on the ground who was holding his stomach with his hands. Zayns hands immediately wrapped around me and tears rolled down his cheeks "i'm sorry''he whispered, "its okay lets go" i wiped my tears and grabbed his hand, running down the street till we got home. i took him to the bathroom and grabbed his hands placing them under the cold water, zayns face was blank he wasn't showing any emotion, i placed a wet cloth over the cut just above his right eyebrow he looked at me and smiled sadly "thank you" he said running his fingers through my hair, "please promise me you will stop getting into fights" i said looking deep into his beautiful brown eyes "i promise" he smiled placing his hand on my cheek and leaning in to kiss me softly.
