Ciel was then sold, the owners bought him and branded him, giving a mark. He was then chained in a cage. One of the masked adults then placed him on a table as a sacrifice and he was stabbed. In a desperate desire to kill all of his tormentors, Ciel managed to summon Sebastian at this point. Ciel made a contract with Sebastian and later became the earl of Phantomhive.
