"Hikaru," I whined as I tried to get out of bed. Every time I tried to get up, he pulled me back down beside him, nuzzling his face into my chest. The night had been amazing. We left the party and came home, and...well, I stopped fighting what I very obviously wanted so bad: him. His touch, his kiss, the feel of his body against mine...I felt my cheeks burn hot as I reminisced on last night. "Let me up so I can go make breakfast. Aren't you hungry?" I sighed, a bit annoyed with him at the moment. His grip didn't loosen; he just climbed on top of me, licking and nibbling down my neck. "I'm starving," he growled playfully. I bit my lip, trying to hold back the loud moan his actions elicited. I could feel his teeth against my collar bone as he started to grin. "Don't try to hide it. I want to hear you. Screaming my name, moaning because of what I do to you...it's almost my favorite thing to hear," he whispered. He let his tongue trail across my chest and I held back another moan to look at him with a smirk. "Almost? Well, what's your most favorite thing to hear?" I murmured as my hands distractedly roamed his body. His face got serious and he moved closer, pressing his forehead against mine. "When you tell me you love me," he answered softly. I smiled, tangling my fingers in his hair. He was laying on top of me, his elbows on either side of my head to hold himself up. I wrapped my legs around his waist, tugging him closer to me. I could never get him close enough; I still felt like I needed him closer. He sensed my need, grinding against me suggestively. His eyes glinted with mischief and lust. "I love you," I sighed, my back arching as he continued to touch me.
It was after 1 p.m. when I finally got out of bed, only to have him follow me into the bathroom. I never knew sex in the shower could be so amazing. It was almost time to start dinner by the time we were dressed and presentable. The chiming of a doorbell had me hurrying downstairs, along with a voice yelling, "Hey, I thought you might want your kids back. If not, I can take them with me again." Tamaki and Haruhi stood there, a kid on each hip. Tamaki was pouting, almost pleading, and Rose looked at me with a matching gaze from her aunt's arms. "No way, get your own kids!" Hikaru chuckled, scooping Lily from Tamaki's grip and spinning her around in the air. "Did you have fun with Aunt Haruhi and all of your uncles?" he cooed. Rose piped up first. "Yeah!! We were in the pool today, and Uncle Kaoru and Uncle Mori let us play chicken with them!" Lily pouted and picked up where her twin had left off. "And me an' Untle Kaoru lost." Hikaru ruffled her hair gently and set her down. "What about last night?" he asked. "We built a blanket fort in the movie room and had pizza!" Rose giggled, "We watched scaaaaary movies. And Uncle Kyoya let us paint his nails!" Haruhi giggled and set Rose down. I raised an eyebrow at her and she whispered, "I've got pictures. I'll show you later." I nodded, still grinning, and took the girls by their hands. "Why don't you tell Mommy and Daddy everything over dinner?" I said as I guided them out of the foyer, nodding for Haruhi and Tamaki to follow. Tamaki was telling Hikaru how excited he was about the wedding. "They sound like a coupl'a broads," I snorted as Haruhi and I left them in the dining room.
I started making shrimp fried rice for dinner with Haruhi's help. While I cooked, I would catch Hikaru's eye through the doorway to the kitchen. He kept smiling or blowing kisses at me. At the dinner table, he would constantly put an arm around me or take my hand and kiss it softly. I felt warmth rush through me. I couldn't believe I could be so in love with someone. Dinner was over all too soon, and Tamaki and Haruhi left. "I'm going to put the girls to bed," Hikaru mumbled as I started clearing dishes from the table. He slapped my ass as he walked by and I swatted his hand away as I blushed. It was like I was a teenager again, and we were together for the first time all over. It was so much more than the movie romance. It was a blazing fire, and a warm ember; a whirlwind, and a calm breeze; a tsunami, and a gentle wave. It was adventure and it was home. I didn't realize that I had zoned out until strong, sure arms wrapped around my waist. "What are you thinking about?" Hikaru asked, pulling me closer to him and laying his head on my back. I blushed, stacking dishes on the rack to distract myself from his intoxicating presence. "You, a'course. You're all I think about," I blurted, biting down on my bottom lip as soon as the words came out.
I could just see his grin as he straightened, resting his chin on top of my head. "Is that so?" he murmured, his fingers tracing patterns on my stomach. I shivered, bracing my hands on the sink to steady myself. He made me dizzy and fogged up my mind. It was hard to focus with him around. "Y-yeah," I stammered, my breath quickening when his hands slid up my shirt. Slowly, he turned me around so I was facing him. His hands ran up and down my back as I buried my head in his chest. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you too, A.J.," he sighed contently.

"Mommy!" Rose squealed. I poked my head out from the tent we had set up in the middle of the family room. "C'mon Rose! They're comin'!" I yelled. Sure enough, the thud of Hikaru's footsteps and Lily's little pitter-patters made their way down the hall. Rose dove into the tent and I quickly closed the flap, holding the zippers together. "Let us in!" Lily shrieked, her shadow looming outside. "Neber!!" Rose wailed defiantly, burying her face in my arm to hide her giggles. "We'll just have to let ourselves in. Roooooar!!" Hikaru yelled, deepening his voice to a monstrous growl. "Oh no! They're gonna get us!" I cried overdramatically. He started to shake the tent and we shrieked. I let go of the zipper and pulled Rose into my lap. "Don't worry, Mommy will protect you!" The flap fell and Lily crawled in with a grin and an armful of junk food. "That was anticlimactic," Hikaru chuckled as he climbed in after her, also carrying tons of snacks. I smiled and let Rose go as she helped her sister set up their sleeping bags. "Oh, you big scary monster! Why do you torment us?" I sniffled, smirking at him as he set the food aside and crawled over to me. "Because... I CAN!" he roared, pouncing on me. I rolled around on my back as he tickled me. "Girls! Help me get Momma!" Rose and Lily came to his aid in an instant. They sat on my legs and each started tickling my feet. "Stop, stop!!" I gasped, kicking and squirming feebly. "I GIVE UP!!!" I screeched. With one rough jerk, I bucked Hikaru off of me. The girls went flying into him and we all ended up in a dog pile, laughing uncontrollably.
"So," Hikaru sighed once he was able to catch his breath, "we got the snacks. Did you guys bring any drinks?" Rose got up and flipped the lid off of a styrofoam cooler we had brought up earlier. "Way ahead'a ya," she grinned. The tent was large enough to fit six people, and we had set it up so that the opened flap on the other side sat right in front of the TV. "What do you guys want to watch?" Hikaru asked as he rolled out a two-person sleeping bag. "Freddy Kreuger, Freddy Kreuger!!" They chanted. Hikaru turned to me with a playful scolding look and I shrugged. "What can I say? They love Nightmare on Elm Street," I defended myself with a sheepish smile. "I wonder why," he mused sarcastically, rolling his eyes. We were snuggled close inside of our sleeping bag while the girls laid on top of theirs and watched the movie. We continued watching the films and talking even after the girls fell asleep. We ate Skittles and Milk Duds, throwing popcorn at each other when one (mostly Hikaru) made an offhand comment that made the other (mostly me) become flustered. We talked until the wee hours of the morning-- about our hopes for the future, about good memories from the past, about how we coped with being without the other, about how we felt now that we were back in each other's lives.
"I feel like it's all too good to be true, like things are going great, so something horrible will happen to ruin my happiness. I'm scared to be this happy," I confessed. He wrapped his arms around me as we listened to the music for the Freddy vs. Jason DVD menu. "I feel like it's everything I've been dreaming of since we split up. All I wanted was you; I wanted to marry you, to have a family with you, to spend forever with you. Now I have that, and it's a dream come true. I'm scared I might wake up one day and it'll all be gone," he whispered, pulling me closer to him. I sighed contently, reaching up only to cut off the television. The pale light of the hours of dawn filled the room around us, making our shadows dance on the walls of the tent. "I'll never ever leave you," I vowed. He kissed my forehead. "And I'll never leave you," he swore. He yawned and I giggled, receiving a playfully fatal look from him. "Go to sleep," he hissed, squeezing me. I burrowed my head into the crook of his shoulder, inhaling his scent. "Good night," I murmured. "Good morning," he corrected with a small chuckle. In moments, I was asleep in his arms.
