All Part Of The Plan

Akhila lay there, on that old towel,  too scared to think, too scared to move, until... "pssst! Pssst, Akhila! Hey, Akhila!" Akhila turned to see her find Chimney looking in through the window. "chimney!" akhila said, nearly jumping up with joy. Chimney was akhila's best friend and practically the reason why she woke up every morning, besides having to catch mice. akhila quickly and quietly walked to the window where Chimney's head popped in through.  

"so, what's up!" sayed Akhila, with her usual bright, cheery voice.

"i wanted to tell you that i'm leaving." said chimney, with no emotion in his voice, this made Akhila nearly cry on the spot. "leaving?" he was going to leave! she didn't want him to leave!!

"w-why?!?"

"because i can't stay here Akhlia, and neither should you!"

"w-what?"

"i was thinking of taking you with me. i've seen how these people treat you, and i know how much you hate it here! we can leave together!"

Akhila was wary about this. she didn't like her home, that was true, but she was way to scared of "the outside world" to go out there either. she ping-pong the idea back and forth in her head, until she finally came to a decision.

"alright, ill go with you." this put a smile on chimney's face. 

"alright the plan is we meet out at midnight. at the stargazing spot. i'll tell you the rest when we're there." and with that he popped his head out of the window and sped off. Awhile was exited and afraid. she was happy to finally be leaving this hell-hole, but she was scared of what would happen out in the wild, were the so called, "warriors" lived.  she thought about this as she climbed atop her bed, and for the first time in  a while, she actually fell asleep.

(this song plays in Akhila's dream as she envision's what might happen when she leaves the kitty-pet territory and goes to the outside world)
