Misty was going in with confident. She was scared at all. As it was starting Beverly and Kevin quickly dug into misty past. Once they were done talking, the judge ask misty if she had anything to say. Misty stood up and said "I know I don't have a good past, but who does. I learn to hustle and work for myself. I got my degree. I push education on my brother so hard. My brother who is lock away wouldn't have ask me to watch over his daughter if he didn't trust me. I know I'm perfect, I wasn't born in a perfect family. But this family who is sitting behind me." Misty pointed at the Lyon family who was sitting behind her. Misty said "they have been behind me through everything, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be where I am today. If being unfit is what they call me, I say I don't give a damn, I love angel, when angel had her allergic reaction, I carried her in my arms, I care for her." The judge when into the back to think about. Kevin said "angel will be coming home with us." Misty kept her mouth shut, she was not going on their level. When the judge came back he said that angel will be leaving with misty for now on. Beverly and Kevin was mad, they caused a scene in the court room. Cookie said "wow, and I though they were classy, who knew they were ratchet."
Misty was happy that angel was going to live with her.
