After a long, long day yesterday we came back to Kalani's house and he showed me my room after telling him like 500x I was not staying in his bedroom.

I went to sleep thinking on everything that happened. How I almost killed that girl because I lost control with my wolf. I went to sleep wondering if I had given a bad impression and presuming I was already in everyone's conversation. To say the least I was barely able to sleep. My night was restless and when I woke up this morning I felt more tired than how I went to sleep.

Luckily my room have a bathroom and I didn't have to leave to go through my morning routine. After finishing I decided to just put some dark blue skinny jeans and a tank top with some flip flops. I went out of my room and made my way to the kitchen where Kalani was already waiting with some breakfast ready.

"Good morning, I'm not much of a cooker but I made you something. If you don't like it we could go get something".

"What makes you think I want to do something with you?", I teased him.

"Well, uhm, you can go by yourself I can leave you my car keys and I'll just run to the office", he said with sadness in his tone.

"I was teasing. I was actually thinking I could go with you to work. See what you do in your daily life and we go from there. I don't want to hold you from your work and I can learn as well. Not to mention, I don't want to be alone".

"Yes! I will love that! Please sit, let's eat breakfast first." He said with a lot of excitement in his voice.

'I can picture mate wagging his tail' my wolf said.
'I know right he looks like a kid on Christmas morning' I replied.

"Did I say something funny?" Said Kalani with food in his mouth.

"No, sorry, my wolf just being funny".

"Oh yea, may I know what's funny?"

"She said she can imagine your wolf wagging his tail" I said between giggles.

"Oh I see"

I just continued laughs while his face radiated embarrassment.

After finishing our breakfast i told him I would take care of the dishes so he could go and change since he was still on his pajamas and he had to go to work. A few minutes later he came back and we left to his office.

When we walked inside his office I could tell he haven't done his work in a while with the pile of paperwork sitting on his desk. I haven't noticed yesterday but I could tell that it was stressing him out.

"How about you tell me what we doing?" I told him offering my help.

"I don't know this is just too much to take in", he replied.

"Yea, maybe, but if you explain while you working I can pick up what you are telling me. I'm a quick learner and I can help you".

I could tell his hesitation but he agree with letting me help. He grab a chair and put it next to him but I was more teasingly and sat on his lap. His chest rumbled to my touch I can tell he was getting excited but was trying to restrain his wolf from getting any ideas.

"I don't think I can't think like this".

"I see you repeating your words too many times" I joked back. "This way I can see exactly what you are seeing and you can explain me better instead of me leaning from that lonely chair you just pulled, which by the way seems cold", I said teasing.

"Um, ok", he said unsure of himself. "Most of my paperwork is about our properties and the pack businesses. Each family have a particular business in town this way wolves will always have a place to go and feel comfortable, not to mention it help the entire pack financially", he was explaining.
