"Sabrina! I thought we were leaving at sunrise", I heard far away by one of the girls in the group.
When I opened my eyes I was welcome with a bright day. The sun was shinning like something good was to come. I must have been very tired because I usually wake up before surise. I like to see the sun when it wakes the sky, the magnificent colors that surface on its approach. I missed today and it kind of upsets me but oh well I'm glad I sleep and I have all this energy to burn.
"I'm sorry I'll be ready soon I just have to change my clothes and wash my teeth and we'll hit the road", I replied back after a good stretch and steping out of the bed.
We stayed in a hotel in the middle of nowhere not far from crossing the border line. The outside gives the creeps knowing not many people pass through here but once you are settle it has like a home feeling. Natural colors decorates the rooms and the fact that we had doors that connects to each other makes it feel safer.
After doing my usual hygiene rutine I put my clothes on. When we hit the road like this with no cars just our wolves form and in the run we usually just buy new clothes and leave the dirty one for who ever finds it. This outfit is the last one I have. My outfit was simple black jeans that complements my curves, gray tank top and a black button up shirt. I always choose my hair to go lose in waves and for my shoes black heel boots that goes up to my knees. Once I put my clothes on I went and meet everyone else in the lobby.
"Well nice of you to finally show up" said Jacob.
"I'm sorry I was very tired last night you know I don't need alarm I didn't think I needed one today", I said apologetic.
We started walking out the hotel making our way to the woods. The sun wasn't all the way up yet, you can see the moon fading away while the sun gave the sky a bright orange look that make a romantic seen if only I had my mate.
Once we were deep in the woods everyone started tighting their clothes to their ankles while I hide to do the same thing. I never understood why they will strip in front of everyone I mean if you didn't have a choice where you shift and destroy your clothes but here we can hide to tight our clothes. I think I already memorized their bodies very uncomfortably.
When everyone was ready I took off first with everyone following my tail. I can see the wolves excited running free and knowing we were going to do it for a good amount of miles they couldn't be happier. Wolves are meant to be let out wild in the true nature every so often and times gives the opportunity. Mine loves the freedom, both of us share that feeling.
We crossed the border in less then 20 minutes. It could had been less but not only were there guards everywhere watching the border but we encounter other rogues scent so we had to cover our own and make sure not to run into them. Yes we are rogues but no we are not violent. We like to make noise here and there for fun but we don't kill for fun like most rogues do. Everyone have their bad story or reasons as to why they left a pack, most of us didn't have a choice or weren't born in one like me.
We usually cross border in California since that's where we live and not many wolves go there because of how crowded it is with humans but this time we were far close to Texas. So for the first time I thought we should pass by the biggest pack in the US and make some noise there.
After what seems like an hour running inside the woods we started to smell wolves. We weren't in their precise territory yet but this meant we were pretty closed if they were just out and about in the city. We changed to our humans and visited the mall. I have a fetish with malls and I'm not the only one. Everytime we are closed to one we just have to make a stop there. Besides if there were pack wolves out of their territory it was most likely to visit this huge mall. What better then to alarm them first?
