I walked into school and saw everyone looking at me. 

Their eyes darted to me and then back to each other. 

Whispers floated around me. 

What had happened?

It had been only a week since the dance. People still weren't talking about that. 

Were they?

I shrugged it off and walked on. 

I saw Jake and was glad to see him. 

As I walked towards him people hushed each other and became silent. 

I was uncomfortable to speak. 

Jake looked over at me with worried eyes. His pupils staring straight into me. 

I knew how he was feeling. I felt like the whole world was just...

observing me.

I walked away to my locker and got into homeroom hoping this would just stop. 

I walked in and people didn't go silent. 

Good. 

I sat down and noticed Marli wasn't here. 

I sighed. I sorta needed her right now. 

Then I heard people behind me start to sing something. 

I heard the tune and I knew what was up. 

"Taylor and Jake sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G! First comes love, then come marriage, then comes Taylor with the baby carriage!" They laughed and the teacher came in the room. 

The teacher hadn't heard any of the song. 

Crap. 

My eyes watered and I desperately needed to sit next to Jake. 

But I couldn't. I was frozen in place and a kiss couldn't save me now. 

Tears flew out my eyes as if someone had turned a faucet on and had left it running. 

I looked slightly back to see Jake. His face concerned. He looked at me with eyes that could only say one thing. 

Why?

I was asking the same thing. 

Had Kelly spilled the beans?

Then I remembered.

Wendy.

I had told one person.

ONE PERSON!

Then it had spiraled out of control. 

Soon enough it was one grade.

Then eventually one school. 

What had I done?
