Chapter 12 (The sleepover part 2!)

I dozed off the Rom-Com just getting good. 

Come on! I wanna see this part my mind shouted and I sat back up looking at the screen. 

So worth it.

The part was amazing and super funny and I almost laughed forgetting that everybody had fallen asleep. I yawned and tried to get up. But I collapsed onto the couch and fell asleep.

My eyes blinked open to someone shaking me awake. 

I sighed. "Seriously Ricky? Go back to bed." I mumbled and turned to see not Ricky but Jake. 

I sat up. 

Why was he in my bedroom?

Wait. 

I had fallen asleep on the couch.

Crap. 

"Ummmm...." I whispered trying not to wake up Ricky. 

"Go back upstairs and come back down them. Pretend you were up there! GO!" He whispered and fell back on the couch pretending to be asleep. I silently tip-toed up the stairs. When I got up them I waited 5 seconds then went back down them normally. I snuck up on Ricky and shook him until he awoke. 

"GOOD MORNING!" I uttered trying not to be too loud. 

"ughhh. Why are you waking me up this early?" He groaned and tried to fall back asleep. I sighed and dragged him off the couch and he fell. 

"OW!" he cried and rubbed his head. 

I giggled. 

Pay back. 

Ricky woke up Jake (who was already awake) by shaking him. 

Jake popped up and stretched his arms. I laughed behind my hand. 

He noticed me and smiled. 

We all walked into the kitchen and sat down at the island. 

"So get a good night's sleep boys?" I asked.

"Yeah. Great night's sleep" Jake replied and winked at me. I blushed.

"Whatcha talking about?! I had a horrible night's sleep." Ricky complained while rubbing his back.

"Is it because Wendy isn't here?" I cooed.

His face boiled with anger.

I had started shipping him and Kelly's little sister for a while. She was only a  little bit younger than us so it was fine. Jake and Issac had joined in too. It was hilarious. 

"SHUT UP!" He yelled and stormed off. 

I was shocked. He wasn't usually like this around friends. 

Then I noticed a tear slip down my cheek. 

Where had that come from?

Then more poured from my eyes and I choked everything from the past couple days rebounding on me. 

The stupid gym test that I had failed three times,

My brother not picking me on his team for gym,

No one picking me for my team for gym. 

It came back to me. 

"Okay you go on this team and who do we have left?"

My eyes started to water.

The only one left. 

No one choosing me  because I sucked at flag football. 

I looked up and there was Jake staring back at me. 

Tears still poured out of my eyes. 

I looked at him and ran into him. 

He held me in his arms. 

I sobbed into his chest. 

He stroked my hair.

I sobbed and sobbed for what seemed like hours. 

Just tear after tear falling into him. Then I felt a tear drop on my head. I looked up and saw him crying too. 

"Oh! Please don't cry!" I whimpered and backed away feeling guilty. 

"It's ok. I'm just so emotional" He said and chuckled. 

We heard stomping from the stairs and sat back down as if nothing had happened. 

Ricky came back down with messed up hair and red-ish eyes. 

"I'm sorry" He muttered. 

I nodded.

Awkward silence surrounded us. 

"So... I have to go home." Jake said breaking the silence. 

I turned to the clock. It was 9:00. 

We had woken up at 6:00 am. 

Jeez. So it had been hours...

I waved as he grabbed his stuff and left. 

I sighed. 

Why'd he have to leave so early?

I shrugged and sat down on the couch and opened my computer.

I opened my computer and searched up a website.

I entered into my profile and smiled seeing my story had reached 600 views. 

At least some people enjoyed seeing my work. 

They really saw me for me.

Also sorry for this story being a wee sad. I've been going through some rough stuff recently with school. BLEH.
