Chapter 11: Drew's Confessions

When I went to school this morning I could already tell things were going to be different but what was happening right now I wasn't expecting. I was looking at Drew with questioning eyes wondering what he was talking about.
"What are you talking about Drew?"I asked speaking my thoughts as I stood their stiffly.
"What if I told you I could do things that most normal people can't?" Drew asked me and I frowned.
"Whatever game your playing Drew it isn't funny." I said glaring at him and he sighed and ran his hand over his face.
"Charlotte, Drew isn't kidding. Lets just say we aren't all normal. Were special." Jason said and I nodded slowly trying to comprehend them and my eyes widen as I remember the phone call I had with my mother.
**Flashback**
"Hello." I said into the phone.
"Sweetie Your father and I have just been informed that their is other kids that live in our world that are going to your school so Please be careful." My Mother said with fear in her voice.
"Don't worry Mother we have nothing to worry about remember." I said.
"I Know but-"
" I have to go but don't worry everything will be fine." I said trying to end the call as Drew and his group were look suspiciously at me.
"Fine Goodbye. But Don't Cut me off again." My Mother said in her Queen Voice.
**Flashback Over**
I gasped as I realized they could very well be the vampires that are at our school. I didn't say anything but continued to look at them suspiciously.
"Charlie, I just know you think I am crazy but I'm not. I just have this special ability to sense certain things and I can see that someone or something has been by you that isn't exactly normal and is very powerful." Drew said looking angry.
"Listen Drew, You need to stay away from me." I said glaring at him and taking a few steps back from him. It broke my heart to say those words but I had no choice.
"C'mon Charlie,Don't do this." He said looking hurt and I just shook my head. He suddenly sniffed the air again and started looking around.
"Drew.." Alex said trailing off looking around.
"I know." Drew responded sharply.
"Are you some type of dog?" I asked worried. If he was a Werewolf and my parents found out they would kill him. Vampires are forbidden to have a werewolf mate. If the council found out they would kill him and I would die to due to the fact that I wouldn't have my soulmate, My other half. When I look at Drew again he looked highly offended.
"Hell no!" He said and all the guys looked at me like I was crazy.
"Charlotte, We're vampires." Drew said and I gasped. I had to grab onto a locker so I wouldn't just fall on the ground. A smile found its way on my face but quickly left when I realized I couldn't tell him I was too. He could tell the council.
'But he wouldn't.'
I can't take the chance. I thought sadly.
"She's smiling?" Jason said looking confused.
"Are you gonna like suck my blood or something?" I asked pretending to look scared now. Drew just smiled and chuckled.
"I expected that one." Drew said honestly.
"I don't understand... Why was it so important to tell me that you are this thing?" I asked putting quotes around thing. Drew gave his group a look and they quickly walked off so it was just Drew and I walking towards the entrance of the school.
"In our world there are something called a soul mate."
"Oh so like in fairy tales?"I asked rolling my eyes. I had to play this right and by doing that I'm going to act like I don't believe he is actually a vampire.I wanted to smile at how cute he was being while trying to explain the whole idea of Vampires and Soul mate's.
"Yea, Basically every vampire has one. Soul mates are your other half. The one who was made to be with just you and you only." He said smiling.
"What does this have to do with anything?" I asked pretending to be confused as I furrowed my eyebrows. On the inside though I was squealing like a little girl on Christmas. I thought I would never be able to hear him say I was his Soulmate.
"Charlotte, Your my Beloved. Your my soulmate. The one I meant to be with for the rest of my life. In my 462 years of living I have never loved someone as much as I love you." Drew said looking into my eyes with pure love and A smile made its way onto my Face.
"Drew I-"
"You don't have to say it. Its okay I understand but please don't run from me because of what I am." He said sadly and I put my lips on his and he seemed surprised at first but he quickly responded. This is really cliche but I feel I could stay in his arms forever. I smiled into the kiss and let out a small happy sigh as he pulled away. I couldn't take it anymore. I can't stand here and lie to him as he pours out his heart to me. I have to tell Him.
I have to tell Drew I'm a Royal Pure Blood Vampire.
