Chapter 9: Lost in the world of Thoughts.

~Charlotte's POV~
To say I was surprised would be a understatement. The moment the Bell rang signaling second block was over Drew has his arms wrapped around me and was putting his face in my neck.
"What are you doing?" I asked leaving my arms at my side.
"I thought something happened to you. You weren't at school for the last part of the day yesterday." Drew said and I would have
gave him a strange look if he wasn't still hugging me.
"Yea, well I had family emergency.Oh speaking of I'm sorry but the whole coming over tomorrow is canceled. But we can all still go out somewhere as a group." I said and he nodded pulling away with a small frown.
"How come you were so worried about me?" I asked.
"I already told you I thought something happened, I mean you kind of just disappeared." He said and I nodded slowly. Human boys are weird. I thought to myself.
"Oh okay." I said while nodding slowly and starting to back away.
"Well um I have to get to class so I'll talk to you later, Kay?" His frown deepened at what I said.
"Why don't we just ditch for the day. I mean doesn't a nice Oreo blizzard with Cookie dough and M&MS sound good." He asked smiling and I just shook my head while sighing.
"You see I have to get my makeup work but maybe later. Alright? Bye." I said quickly and started to quickly walk away. I didn't like seeing Drew so worried. I could have ditched with him because I could honestly care less about all the extra work I have to do but I just couldn't bring myself to actually do it and have a chance of becoming close with Drew. I mean the closer I get with him the more I'll want him to know about me, and I don't want that. Why you may ask,well because if he knows I'm a vampire he'll go running for the hills and I'll be left rejected and alone. I closed my eyes and my fists tightened as I leaned against the locker. If I could cry then you would see me balling my eyes out like a baby. But I cant so you don't have to worry about me having an emotional breakdown.I have one question though, Why did the fate put me with a human boy. Why.

~Drew's POV~
I watched Charlie walk away from me down the long empty hallway making me feel alone and empty. I felt like she just rejected me right their. I can't let that happen. I thought to myself determined. After a moment or two of thinking I'm pretty positive my eyes lite up as I thought of an plan. I will make Charlotte Faye fall in love with me. One way or another.

~Charlotte's POV~
When I told Drew that maybe later we could go get that blizzard I didn't mean it literally. By the time the end of the day came he was leaning against my locker with his car keys in his hand and holding a blizzard smirking at me from across the hall way.
"Is that Drew at your locker?" Jasmine asked wide eyes and I nodded.
"Yep." I said rolling my eyes
"Oh Charlotte!" Chloe sang walking up to me making me stop in my tracks.
"Yes Chloe?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We've got a little problem." She said standing their with her arms crossed.
"We do?" I asked confused. Chloe and I have never had a problem. Ever.
"Yes,We do. You see Charlotte you know I feel when specials try to steal my boyfriend." She said putting her hand on my back.
"She isn't stealing your boyfriend Chloe." Jasmine said glaring at her.
"Shut it nerd." Chloe said snapping at Jasmine and I frowned.
"Don't snap at her she was just trying to help me and she wasn't lying either." I said calmly." I'm not trying to steal Drew from you. He won't leave me alone as you can see." I said pointing to where he was leaning at my locker. A small smile tugged at my lips as I seen he was checking his hair. Its so typical of him.
"Well then I can fix that problem. Now that we have that settled do you want to go shopping this weekend?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yea sure." I said smiling and she smiled back before saying she had to go and walked off. The moment she left the smile slipped off my face. Even though I said I didn't want to get close with Drew I didn't mean I wanted another girl to have him.Call me selfish but as much as I don't want to say it I think of Mr. Drew Parker as mine.
"What are you doing?" Jasmine asked me with crossed arms.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"What are you doing still standing here.Go talk to that boy and don't come back till you do.I don't care what Chloe says, he isn't her boyfriend. He is your future husband so she can back off and find herself a new man. Now shoo." She said pushing me towards Drew. I laughed at what she said and started to walk towards him.
"Hey." He said pushing off the locker.
"Should I ask why your leaning against my locker with a blizzard in your hand or should I ask why you haven't have me some yet?" I asked while crossing my arms and smirking. He gave me a cute lopsided grin and handed the blizzard to me.
"It was originally for you in the first place but you were taking to long so I ate some." He said shrugging. Now don't get me wrong. I still don't like the dull plain, bland food that the humans eat but I can make an exception for Blizzards because these things are probably the best things these humans have made in decades.
"Sadly you know my weakness so I must eat this." I said taking a bite and I moaned at the delicious creamy taste. I noticed Drew's eyes got a little darker going to a darker golden brown. Making my eyes widen a little but when I blinked they were back to their normal color making me question if I just imagine it.
"I knew I would one day find out your weakness." Drew said smirking."Don't worry babe I always knew you wanted me." I rolled my eyes at that stamens.
"Ha. Ha. Your very funny.Who knew you had such an sense of humor." I said sarcastically and he cracked a small grin. I couldn't help but noticed his dimples he had when he smiled and how his eyes brightened when he laughs. I shook my head removing those thoughts.
"Well I would love to stay and chat but I must be going. Thanks for the blizzard." I said with a smile before giving him a wave and went down the hallway. Once I was out of his sight and anyone else's I quickly thought of home and blinked and next think I noticed was I was in the throne room.
"I see you've got the hang of the whole transportation thing." My father said and I laughed and nodded.
"It's kind of fun but it drains my energy." I said as a wave of tiredness swept over me am he nodded.
"Why don't you go rest." He said and I nodded.
"Goodnight Father. Tell mother I said goodnight also." I said and he nodded.
"I will." He said and I went upstairs using my speed and changed out of my school clothes and changed into a pair of shorts and loose shirt. I laid down and thought about how nice it would be to have Drew laying next to me or even being able to just hang out with him at the Palace. I sighed as I was once again getting lost in the world of thoughts.
